The ZTE V5 3 is a proposal that wants to delve into the formula that seems to have hit the key to success in the smartphone market: an attractive design, specifications to face the mid and high range of the most renowned manufacturers and above all a breakthrough price. The ZTE V5 is a phablet of 5.5 inches with resolution Full HD, eight - core processor, a good set of cameras rear of 13 mrgapíxeles and elegant design in gray or champagne with the side frames reduced to a minimum. Design and display
The ZTE V5 3 has a design that is quite reminiscent of equipment such as the iPhone 6 Plus, especially for the use of a single circular button at the bottom of the screen and for reducing the side frames to a minimum. This model will be available in two configurations, one in silver and the other in champagne or gold. What we have not yet been able to confirm is whether this terminal will use a polycarbonate body (most likely) or if it will use metal to some extent. The full dimensions of the ZTE V5 3 are placed at 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.55 millimeters, a fairly competitive thickness although without being among the thinnest on the market. These measurements are combined with a weight of160 grams.
As for the screen, this device uses a panel IPS 5.5 inch reinforced by technology OGS (one glass solution). This technology eliminates one of the intermediate layers between the glass and the touch panel so that reflections on the screen are reduced and finer designs can be achieved. The resolution of the V5 3 goes up to Full HD of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, which gives us a density of 401 dots per inch. This is a fairly good level of detail to enjoy different Android content such as apps, games, videos and even movies in high quality. Photographic camera
Within the photographic section we have a rear camera with a resolution of 13 megapixels, autofocus and LED flash. In addition, thanks to the HDR function we can take more vivid photos in low light conditions such as at sunset. This lens is capable of recording 1080p high-resolution video. On the other hand, at the front of a lens with resolution integrates 5MP which should enable us to get out of the way when taking selfies. It has also been wanted to highlight a function to take a photograph within another using the two cameras simultaneously.
Memory and power
The ZTE V5 3 includes an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with a power of 1.5 GHz in four of its cores and 1 GHz in its remaining four cores. In the bowels of the ZTE V5 3 is the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system along with the NUBIA UI 3.0 software layer. This platform has received a complete face lift with a more colorful interface and a more intuitive and agile handling through the different menus. But above all, its great attraction is in the large number of titles that its official store has, with names like Clash of Clans, Facebook, Twitter or Candy Crush Saga among others. In addition, this device incorporates a fingerprint reader that will allow us to add a security plus.
Connectivity
Within the field of connections, this device integrates two slots for NanoSIM cards. Thanks to this, we can carry two telephone lines in the same terminal, such as our personal line and our work line. Furthermore, the ZTE V5 3 supports high-speed 4G networks with up to 150 Mbps. This type of network has become very widespread in Spain in recent years with the push of the main operators. Nor does it detract from its WiFi AC connectivity , a protocol with which to connect at the same time to both bandwidths (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and thus achieve a faster and more stable connection. Connections are completed withBluetooth 4.1, GPS and a MicroUSB port to carry out the charge.
Autonomy, price and opinions
This device includes a 3,000 milliamp battery, a capacity that is in the average of what phablets of this size usually mark. Of course, at the moment there have been no official data on the time of use it allows. The ZTE V5 3 will hit the market from the end of October at a starting price of about 170 euros.
