ZTE already surprised us with the launch of the ZTE Nubia Z9, a smartphone that stood out for incorporating curved side screens with quite peculiar functions. This time, a certification - which, by the way, has been withdrawn within hours of its publication - has revealed that ZTE is working on what will become the thinnest smartphone in its history. So far, we know that this mobile responds to the numbering of NX513J, and mentions certification that its thickness will be established in six millimeters.
This new ZTE NX513J (for the moment it has not transcended its commercial name) will become part of the upper-middle range of the ZTE catalog and, as revealed by the images published by the certification echoed by the TechGadgetsz website .com, we are facing a mobile that will come with a design very similar to that of the ZTE Nubia Z9. Of course, these similarities in the design will only be reflected in the appearance of the mobile, since in terms of measurements we would be facing a terminal with dimensions of 147.8 x 72.1 x 6 millimeters, a figure with significant differences -especially in width and thickness- with respect to the 147.4 x 68.3 x 8.9 mm of the Nubia Z9.
UPDATE: As reported from AndroidHeadlines.com, the smartphone mentioned in this certification has just been officially presented. Its final name is ZTE MyPrague (it is oriented version, for now, the Czech Republic), the final thickness which incorporates the casing is 5.5 mm (weighing 140 grams).
The technical specifications for the certification mentioned this mysterious smartphone ZTE pass through a screen of 5.2 inches with resolution Full HD (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), a main camera of eight megapixels and a front camera of three megapixels. Although no performance-related data is mentioned, we assume that ZTE will have used components that will not be particularly far from the characteristics of the Nubia Z9, which includes a Snapdragon 810 processor, 3/4 GigaBytes of RAM, 32/64 GigaBytes of internal storage and the Android version 5.0.2 Lollipop of the Android operating system.
In any case, we have to speak with relative caution about this smartphone. As noted on AndroidHeadlines.com, the certification of the ZTE NX513J has been withdrawn within minutes of its publication. That could mean two things: that ZTE does not want details of this mobile to be released so soon or that, on the other hand, we are facing a terminal whose development would have been canceled. Officially, at the moment, this smartphone does not exist.
In the event that we are dealing with a mobile that has finished its development phase, we hope that ZTE will present it over the next few months. But be careful: it is quite unlikely that this terminal will reach the European market, and it is most likely that its availability will be exclusively reserved for the Asian market. As has happened with the launch of the ZTE Nubia Z9, in short.
