Fingerprint readers are set to become a standard feature in 2016, and purely Chinese mobiles won't be the only ones to incorporate this specification in a contained price range. ZTE, a company that currently distributes mobiles such as the ZTE Axon Elite or the ZTE Blade V6 in Europe, has starred in a certification in which the ZTE C2016 has been uncovered, a new mid-range smartphone that surprises by the presence of a fingerprint reader.
It was TENAA , a certification body of Asian origin, which has uncovered this new ZTE smartphone. At the moment, the only thing we know is that this terminal has undergone the test under the numbering of ZTE C2016, and in its metal casing the presence of the fingerprint reader is especially striking. This reader is located on the back of the mobile, under the camera, and has a design similar to that of the ZTE Axon Elite fingerprint reader.. Moreover, the design of this terminal appears to be quite simple, and mentions certification we are talking about a phone that has a thickness of 7.5 mm and a weight set at 188 grams.
But, as we can read on GSMDome.com, the certification has also revealed some of the technical specifications of the future ZTE C2016. This smart phone has a screen of 5.2 inches (hosted on a panel TFT) reaching a resolution Full HD with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, while inside we find a processor eight - core (model to be determined) running at 1, 5 GHz, 3 GigaBytes of RAM, 16 GigaBytes of internal storage (expandable via microSDup to 128 gigabytes), a main camera and a front camera that seem to share the same model of sensor eight megapixels and the version of Android 5.1 Lollipop of the operating system Android. Of the battery capacity, no mention.
From here, it is difficult to determine if the ZTE C2016 is a model planned to land on the European market or if, instead, it will be limited to being distributed only in Asian territory. Arriving in Europe, to give us an idea of its possible starting price, it is enough to remember that the ZTE Axon Elite has recently landed in Spain with a price of 420 euros. Of course, the Axon Elite is presented with a visibly more careful design, and it seems that it remains a step above the range to which the ZTE C2016 will belong.
