Asian tech media are invited to attend an imminent event of the Chinese company ZTE in which the official presentation of three new smartphones will apparently take place: ZTE Nubia Z9, ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini and ZTE Nubia Z9 Max. In the absence of a few hours for this event to begin (it will take place tomorrow, March 26), some new leaked photographs have revealed what the boxes that will contain these new high-end mobiles will look like.
Beyond the anecdotal detail of the appearance of these boxes, what is really interesting about this leak is that the image practically confirms the existence of one of the three mobiles planned for the ZTE event, the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max. The other two terminals (the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini and the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max) are not mentioned in this image, although the rumors do not seem to have any doubt about the veracity of the data related to these two phones.
But, at the moment, of these three phones, the ZTE Nubia Z9 is really the terminal about which more information is known -at least in an extra-official way-. The rumors appeared so far indicate that this new smartphone incorporate a screen 5.2 inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution (with 424 ppi pixel density screen), a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 (hopefully with all problems overheating corrected) with a clock speed set to 2 GHz, 3 Gigabytes of RAM and 32 GigaBytes of internal storage (no mention as to whether it will be expandable).
In addition to these features, is also expected of the ZTE Nubia Z9 a main camera of 16 megapixels, a front camera of eight megapixels and the version of Android 5.0.2 Lollipop of the operating system Android (with the layer of personalization of this manufacturer, Nubia UI 2.8). In fact, one of the few technical specifications that are unknown about this mobile resides in the capacity of its battery.
In contrast, the information about the ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini and ZTE Nubia Z9 Max is not so defined. Some rumors suggest that the ZTE Nubia Z9 Max, for example, incorporate a screen size phablet (ie, a figure significantly higher than the 5.2 inches of the Nubia Z9) to reach a resolution Quad HD of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The processor, both in the Z9 Max and the Z9 Mini, will apparently be the same Snapdragon 810 (along with the 3 GigaBytes of RAM) that the Nubia Z9 will incorporate..
The presentation of ZTE will take place tomorrow, March 26, and we have no choice but to wait until this event not only to know the characteristics of these mobiles, but also to discover if the European market falls within the distribution plans of these ZTE phones.
