On the front of the ZTE Blade V8 we find a physical button with Home function in the lower frame that acts as a fingerprint sensor and the camera and LED flash, along with the logo, on the top. ZTE, as we have just seen, resists leaving the physical button aside, like so many other recently appeared terminals, which prefer to increase the screen, curving it and almost leaving the terminal without frames, thus taking advantage of the maximum possible space. Regarding the audio section, the speakers are placed on both sides of the MicroUSB connector . On this occasion, ZTE choose to continue with the standard that others are already leaving to give way to the reversible USB Type-C that allows fast charging.

When we no longer had more terminals from the house ZTE in the framework of the CES technology fair , the brand catches us all by surprise by announcing its new mid-range ZTE Blade V8, a step below its older brother the ZTE Blade V8 Pro.
The main feature that draws our attention of this new ZTE entry range is the built-in double rear camera, an architecture with which we can achieve that attractive shallow-depth effect (main focus and background blur) that we already get with a good professional camera. This dual sensor camera has 13 + 2 megapixels with 1080p Full HD recording. We cannot forget, of course, the 13 megapixel selfie camera with flash, beautifying effect, smile detector and video recording. From the rest of the specifications, we note an appreciable 5.2-inch screen with 2.5D contoured glass edge, which mounts an IPS LCD FullHD panel1080p with a pretty hefty pixel density, 424 per inch.
Dual camera, play with focus
One of the most important trends in the design of the mid-range and upper-middle range is to incorporate a double camera in the terminal's chassis to be able to obtain better snapshots, closer to those that we could obtain with a single sensor. On the one hand, we have a 13 MP camera with autofocus, with a similar operation to that of any other mobile camera on the market: the lens brings into focus the object that is marked with the finger on the screen. The other camera, 2 MP, has a fixed focal length. The set of both lenses is combined to offer the user an effect called Bokeh.Have you ever noticed those spectacular portraits in which the subject's face is perfectly in focus and the rest of the landscape is nothing more than a blur? Well, with the dual sensor of the ZTE Blade V8 you can get it without having to shell out large amounts of money.

The guts of the ZTE Blade V8
Inside the ZTE Blade V8 we find the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 eight-core processor with four cores at 1.4 GHz and four cores at 1.1 GHz. Taking into account that we already have Snapdragon 831 in terminals such as the OnePlus 3T, ZTE It has decided to cut back on this aspect, although it is a sufficient processor to handle the vast majority of Android applications fluently, although, surely, it is not the best mobile for those who want to squeeze heavy games that require superior engineering. The processor is combined with a quite estimable RAM memory, as we are going towards 3 GB, a figure that will allow us to have a large number of applications in the background without the performance suffering fluidity problems. And storage, how does the ZTE Blade V8 behave ? Well, we have 32 GB of internal capacity, with the possibility of introducing a microSD card to increase this figure to a not inconsiderable 128 GB, a figure that will satisfy the most demanding of users. The ZTE Blade V8 will bring the latest version of Android, Nougat 7.0, in addition to, of course, Bluetooth 4.1 WiFI. To have NFC connectivity we will have to go to other terminals of the brand.
And battery, how are we doing?
The battery of a mobile is an aspect that many users take into account when choosing one mobile or another. And the brands are already getting down to work to offer us the best autonomy without affecting the size of the mobile. On this occasion, the new Blade V8 assembles inside a 2,730 milliamp battery, which will allow you to get through the whole day with moderate use: don't expect great autonomy with intense use of games and 4G browsing. We therefore do not reach 3,000 milliamps, a figure that many terminals already embrace. Be careful, then, if we want to get to the night without using external batteries.
Availability and price
As the brand itself has informed us, the ZTE Blade V8 can be found in stores from next March. Nothing is known about the price, although taking into account that its older brother, the ZTE Blade Pro, has come out with a price of 250 euros, we can expect that this terminal can be purchased for slightly less than 200 euros.
Next, we leave you with the complete file of the complete specifications of this ZTE Blade V8, an entry-level terminal that has just been presented, almost by surprise, at the CES technology fair held in Las Vegas.
