ZTE has just announced a new phone that it has dubbed the ZTE Blade V7 Plus. The device arrives to renew the ZTE Blade V7, announced in February last year. There are many similarities between this model and its predecessor. Both have the same screen size (5.2 inches) and resolution. The processor is also maintained and is again an eight-core from MediaTek. It hasn't even increased the RAM, which is still 2GB. You will then wonder where the changes are. The company has added a fingerprint reader to the rear and fitted a larger battery. From 2,500 mAh it now goes to 2,540 mAh. For now it has only been put on sale in Australia and Russia, but it is not ruled out that it will do the same in other places, including Europe.

At first glance, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus is traced to its predecessor, except for one detail: the fingerprint reader. It is located at the back, as is usual in brand devices. Its rear part is made of metal and the front part of glass. This is a really stylish and ergonomic phone that is committed to comfort. Its exact measurements are 146 x 72.5 x 7.95 millimeters and its weight is 136 grams. We also appreciate slightly rounded edges for a better grip. The screen of the ZTE Blade V7 Plus is once again a 5.2-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD resolution. This results in a density of 424 pixels per inch.
Same camera, same processor
As a general rule, in renovations, the resolution of the camera or processor is usually increased. This has not been the case in this case and the ZTE Blade V7 Plus continues to have the same technical profile in this section as its predecessor. However, it is more than enough for those users who are looking for a mid-range phone. The device is powered by a MediaTek MT6753. It is an 8-core Cortex-A53 chip running at a speed of 1 ”™ 3GHz, which is accompanied by 2 GB of RAM memory. With this set we should not have any problem to use the most popular applications on Google Play.
For its part, the main sensor of the ZTE Blade V7 Plus is 13 megapixels. It offers dual-tone LED flash, as well as PDAF phase detection autofocus (capable of centering scenes in just 0.3 seconds). The front camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels. Although it does not have a flash, the phone takes advantage of the maximum brightness of the screen to achieve a similar effect. In this way, you will not have problems if you want to take a selfie at night.
More battery inside
Another change is found in the battery section. ZTE has included a higher amperage in this new model. From the 2,500 mAh of the standard ZTE Blade V7 we now go to 2,540 mAh. It is not a large increase, but it is enough to notice a longer duration for a whole day. For the rest, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus continues to offer a set of connections identical to that of its predecessor: LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM radio and microUSB 2.0. It also returns to the scene with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
As we say, for now it has been put on sale in Russia and Australia, although it is not ruled out that it will land in those territories where the ZTE Blade V7 was marketed.
