In a hopelessly connected world, telephone operators increasingly choose to combine Internet packages with landline packages. Yoigo has just launched a new rate that contradicts this mantra. The particularity of Yoigo's new service is based precisely on offering a single plan for landlines. Without Internet and without associated mobile lines.
With the name of "El Fijo", the company intends to provide a single fixed line to all those who do not want to have an additional Internet line, with the extra cost that this entails. This new line is not integrated into a landline phone through a coaxial cable, but through a SIM card. For this reason, no type of installation is required precisely in the home or office.

"Without installation" and "without additional costs". This is how the new rate presented by the Spanish operator is presented. Its price is 14 euros per month, and includes limited calls to national landlines and mobiles. It is a fixed fee, so we will not have to bear additional costs for line fees or associated services.
Another of the particularities that define this rate is based on its format. It is not a common landline, but is integrated into a conventional SIM card that can be installed in any smartphone or traditional telephone as a second line.
If we choose to install the line at home, we will have to have a landline phone with a SIM card tray, since it does not depend on any network cable. Likewise, El Fijo is compatible with the telecare service currently offered by the main telephone providers, although it is not included together with the rate. It also has a caller identification system other than the mobile phone.
Without permanence and with the possibility of carrying a fixed telephone number
Yoigo's new rate for fixed lines arrives without any associated permanence. From the official page it is announced that we will be able to carry a valid landline number, therefore, we will be able to keep the telephone number in case the line comes from another telephone operator.
Finally, it should be noted the compatibility of the rate with the fiber plans currently offered by the company. If we opt for the 600 MB plan, Yoigo temporarily reduces the price of the package to 32 euros per month for the first three months. Later the price becomes 47 euros per month.
