Are you waiting for the renewal of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8? The next mobile with S Pen will be the Galaxy Note 9, a mobile that has already been rumored on different occasions and of which we have seen several leaks that suggested a very soon presentation. It looks like it will, as the Korean company has started sending out invitations for its launch event.
The Unpacked of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be held on August 9 in New York. Samsung will broadcast the event through its website and YouTube channel starting at 5:00 p.m. (in Spain). The invitation does not show many device details. It names a blue color with what appears to be the silhouette of the device in yellow. We see a large button, which could be the one rumored just a few weeks ago, where a possible use was specified for the camera, or to take screen recordings.
Galaxy Note 9, big screen and big battery
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could arrive with a panel of up to 6.4 inches. Of course, with AMOLED technology and QHD + resolution. A widescreen display with minimal frames is expected at the top and bottom. The chosen processor could be the same as the Galaxy S9, an eight-core Exynos 9810 with 6 GB of RAM. The camera could come with slight improvements over the Samsung Galaxy S9, although rumors pointed to only a 12 megapixel sensor. On the other hand, the battery would be approximately 4,000 mAh. The Galaxy Note 9 will arrive with an improved S Pen, which could even incorporate its own speaker. In addition, a renewal of Bixby, Samsung's assistant, is also expected. The option of the fingerprint reader on the screen is still unknown.
We do not know relevant data such as its price or final design. There is little more than a month to know it officially and it is likely that we will see diagrams or even leaked design of this device.
