LG is not going through its best moments as a mobile phone brand. Despite being a terminal to take into account, the sales of the LG G7 do not seem to live up to expectations. It is pointed out that the terminal has been able to see its sales capacity diminished by being presented too late, and presenting little news with respect to its predecessor, the LG V30.
LG V40, 5 cameras and 5G technology for an infinity screen terminal
The brand, according to internal calculations, would have estimated the sales of its new LG G7 ThinQ terminal at 3 million units, remaining half of its aspired goal. Now, the LG V40 will appear, apparently, in a circulation of 500,000 units, a much more modest figure in claims. A million fewer units to sell is a lot of money not entered, so this move is undoubtedly due to a gesture of conservatism from the brand.
The LG would have prepared, according to the leaked information, two versions of the same LG V40 and will do so in the first week of October, when Apple has put all the meat on the grill with respect to its new terminals, at least those that have OLED panel. As we said, it would have been preparing two models of the LG V40, one more premium called 'Phoenix' and another more modest called 'Falcon'. In the end, they have ended up giving up on continuing to manufacture the 'expensive' model when their purchase was denied by operators and even by Google itself for its Pixel terminal.
According to rumors spilled in recent weeks, the new LG V40 would carry no less than five cameras. Three of them would be located on the rear panel, 20, 16 and 13 megapixels. The first two sensors would be of the wide angle type and the last one would be a telephoto lens for closer shots. On the part of the selfies cameras, they would be two lenses that will have 3D facial scanning and a portrait effect. As we can see, the LG V40 will not leave indifferent lovers of mobile photography. As for the OLED screen that the new LG V40 would bring, it would occupy more than 90% of the total panel. In addition, it could be the first LG terminal to support the new 5G technology.
