Samsung has been running the beta program for Android 10 and One UI 2.0, the customization layer for Samsung Galaxy devices for a few months. The beta began to reach all the Galaxy S10 and Note 10. Now, it is the turn of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. If you have this device you can install Android 10 and try the new functions that will soon arrive on your mobile. So you can do it.
First of all, you should know that Android 10 arrives in beta. That is, it is a trial version. It is not the final variant, so there may be different errors when navigating the system, failures to open an application or even experience that the battery drains faster than normal. Therefore, if you use your Galaxy Note 9 on a day-to-day basis, installing the beta is not recommended. Especially since it is the first phase, and mostly the one with the most problems.
If you have chosen to install, it will be necessary to download the Samsung Members App, which is available in the Galaxy application store. Then, log in with your Samsung account and click on the bell icon . A box will appear with the registration to One UI 2.0, the new version of Samsung's customization layer, fill in the information and wait for Samsung to accept your request. Depending on the number of registrations, Samsung may decline your beta request. Once accepted, you will receive the update in the next 15 minutes. To download and install it you must go to Settings> Software update> Download updates manually. So you can download the new version.
One UI 2.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9
As it is a heavy update, it is recommended to have at least 50 percent battery, as well as enough internal storage to download and install the update. The beta includes small new features, such as a redesign in the volume controls, new settings, a renewed camera app and more options for customizing the system. If you want to unsubscribe, you can do so from the Samsung Members application, but you could lose your data, since the terminal would need to restart.
