Every year, around 2-3 months after Huawei announces its new flagship phones, Honor takes the wrapping off its new smartphone. This 2019 will be no different. Huawei's sub-brand has confirmed that the next Honor 20 will debut in London on May 21. Also, you won't do it alone. Uncharacteristically, the Honor 20 will stand out from its predecessors and will come hand in hand with a Pro version with improved features.
From what we know thanks to rumors, the Honor 20 would have a notch in the shape of a water drop, a design with almost no frames and a 6.1-inch OLED panel. The terminal would also include a fingerprint reader under the screen. At the photographic level, this model would have a triple sensor formed by a first 48 megapixel lens, which would act as the main camera. The second sensor would be a 20-megapixel wide-angle, which would be accompanied by a third 8-megapixel telephoto lens, with zoom functions of up to 3x.
The leaks also claim that the Honor 20 would equip a 3,650 mAh battery with 22.5 W fast charging. As for the Honor 20 Pro, it is possible that it will land with a larger screen and more RAM. This terminal would bet for the main camera by the 40 megapixel Sony IMX600 sensor that we already saw in the Huawei P30 Pro. In fact, it is believed that it would be based on this model, although with several differences, such as the curved-edge screen. This seems highly unlikely due to Honor's lower prices. However, the smartphone could retain the Kirin 980 processor.
For the rest, in terms of prices, the Honor 20 could start at 350 euros in its cheapest version: 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. The model with 8 GB of RAM + 128 GB of space would go up to 450 euros. With 8 GB + 256 GB you would have to pay just over 500 euros. There is little more than a month to find out. The honor 20 and 20 Pro will be announced on May 21 in London.
