The rumors were correct, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 will have an older brother with some internally improved features. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro now arrives with a Snapdragon 675 processor, up to 128 GB of storage or 6 GB of RAM. Also, at the photographic level, it retains the configuration of the standard version, but the company has replaced the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor with Sony's IMX 586, so the final quality of the images will improve slightly, as we will explain a little further below..
Otherwise, the Redmi Note 7 Pro is identical to its range brother. It offers the same design with a waterdrop notch, fingerprint reader on the back and is governed by Android 9 along with the MIUI 10 customization layer. The phone will go on sale soon, first in India, at a price from 170 euros.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro follows the design line of the standard version, with a glass chassis, with hardly any frames and a notch or notch in the shape of a drop of water. The screen retains the size of the Note 7: 6.3 inches with a FullHD + resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 and a ratio of 19.5: 9. Within this new model there is room for a Snapdragon 675 processor accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM, as well as 64 or 128 GB of internal storage. Therefore, we will have two versions of the terminal to choose from with different prices. One with 64 + 4 GB and another with 128 + 6 GB.
The most outstanding difference of the Redmi Note 7 Pro with respect to the Note 7 is found in the photographic section. Although it continues to bet on a double rear camera with a 48 megapixel sensor, this time it is signed by Sony instead of Samsung. It is the Sony IMX 586, which takes better advantage of the actual megapixels of the terminal, getting sharper images. This is due to the jump in processor, as the Snapdragon 660 can only process up to 25 megapixels and the Snapdragon 675 48 MP.
These 48 megapixels are fused together to offer a brighter 12 megapixels. Thus, the company ensures that the 48 megapixels as such are enabled only in Pro mode. The team will shoot at 12 megapixels in automatic mode and 48 megapixels in Pro mode. The second depth sensor offers a resolution of 5 megapixels and will be the in charge of taking bokeh or blur photos. Of course, all supported by Artificial Intelligence, which will help us when selecting the scenes.
For selfies, a 13 megapixel front camera has been included, also responsible for unlocking the terminal through facial recognition. As for the rest of the features, the Redmi Note 7 Pro also has a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging, USB Type-C port or Android 9 system under MIUI 10, the company's customization layer.
