The wait has been long, but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is getting closer to seeing the light. On this occasion, Xiaomi's new Redmi Note 2 has gone through an official TENAA certification that has revealed some of its technical specifications. As the certification reveals, the Redmi Note 2 will have dimensions similar to those of the first Redmi Note, while the battery capacity will be slightly less than that of its predecessor.
In this TENAA certification, distributed by the GizmoChina.com website, we can see that the dimensions that this Asian certification body gives to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 are established at 152.05 í— 76.2 í— 8.05 millimeters. These measurements are slightly less than the 154 x 78.7 x 9.5 millimeters of the Redmi Note, and assuming that this reduction only affected the side frames of the front panel, we imagine that the screen size of the new Redmi Note 2 will remain. at 5.5 inches.
The certification also mentions that the battery capacity of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will be set at 3,020 mAh, so we would be talking about a somewhat lower capacity compared to the 3,100 mAh that the Redmi Note battery had.
Beyond revealing this certification, in recent days they have appeared even more concrete leaks about the new redmi Note 2 of Xiaomi. For example, we have seen what the built-in fingerprint reader could look like in the housing of this mobile, as well as we have taken a look at the metallic design that its housing could have. And, at least according to rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 could come with a completely metal case.
Regarding its technical specifications, the Redmi Note 2 has starred in rumors that speak of an eight-core MediaTek processor (model MT6795) with 64-bit technology - according to performance tests, we are talking about a processor that outperforms the Snapdragon 810 of Qualcomm -, 2 gigabytes of RAM, 16 gigabytes of internal storage, a main chamber 13 megapixels and a front camera of five megapixel.
Although at the moment we talk about rumors, what there is no doubt is that Xiaomi is preparing for the next few months the launch of several new smartphones. Yesterday, the certification -with its respective technical specifications and images- of the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus was announced, and even Xiaomi itself has confirmed in the last hours that next July 16 it will present a new device (presumably that We are talking about a smartphone, since the photograph that Xiaomi has published to announce this presentation shows a metallic edge of what appears to be a mobile).
