Xiaomi Redmi 7A, the least advisable
Although the terminal has not yet officially arrived in Spain, we can find it in stores like Aliexpress for a price that starts at 80 euros. Upon arrival in Europe, its price could start at 99 euros, like the Redmi 6A. What do we get for that price?
In summary, the Redmi 7A consists of a 5.45-inch TFT screen with HD + resolution and a Snapdragon 439 processor along with 2 and 3 GB of RAM and 16 and 32 GB. For its part, the photographic section consists of a single 13 megapixel camera with a focal aperture f / 2.0 and a front 5 with the same aperture.
For the rest, the Xiaomi Redmi 7A has a 4,000 mAh battery, 10 W fast charge, FM radio and face unlock as the only biometric method. As a highlight, the phone has splash protection thanks to its polycarbonate shell.
Xiaomi Redmi 7, a lot for very little
If our budget is somewhat longer, the Redmi 7 is one of the best options today, especially if we compare it with the previous proposal.
For about 122 euros starting at Amazon we find a terminal that consists of a 6.26-inch screen with HD + resolution and IPS technology, a Snapdragon 632 processor and a memory configuration based on 2 and 3 GB of RAM and 16, 32 and 64 GB of internal storage.
We continue to find plastic in its body, although with a better treatment and frames that are much better used than those of its counterpart. It also has a double 12 and 2 megapixel camera on the back with f / 2.2 focal aperture and an 8 megapixel camera and f / 2.0 focus aperture on the front. The rest of the characteristics coincide with those of the Redmi 7A.
4,000 battery, 10 W charge, infrared sensor to change channels, face unlock, fingerprint sensor and FM radio, as well as Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection along the length and width of your screen.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, the best option in the mid-range
We come to the most interesting model of the three, the Redmi Note 7. With a price that starts at 169 euros, the terminal is made up of a 6.3-inch screen with Full HD + resolution, IPS LCD technology and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.. We also find the same protection at the rear, as it has a body made entirely of glass.
Inside, we find the well-known Snapdragon 660 along with 3 and 4 GB of RAM and 32, 64 and 128 GB of internal storage. If we move to the photographic section, the jump in quality is remarkable, having two Samsung sensors of 48 and 5 megapixels with focal apertures f / 1.8 and f / 2.4. The front camera, for its part, consists of 13 megapixels and a focal aperture f / 2.2.
For the rest, the terminal has Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi compatible with all bands, infrared sensor, FM radio and the same battery as the previous ones, although this time the fast charge is 18 W under the Quick Charge 3.0 certification.
Conclusion and opinions, which one is worth buying?
After seeing the main differences between them, it is time to draw conclusions. Which mobile is worth buying between the Redmi 7, the Redmi 7A and the Redmi Note 7?
If our budget is around 100 euros to start, opting for the Redmi 7A instead of the Redmi 7 for about 20 euros more on average is the smartest option. Better screen and processor, more storage and RAM as standard, a more complete photographic section and a more modern design as a whole is what we will get for a minimal difference.
In case our budget is somewhat higher, around 140 euros, then the best option will be to opt for the Redmi Note 7 in one of the Amazon offers. Not only do we get a better screen and a somewhat more powerful processor, we also have better cameras, native compatibility with the Google Camera and a more sophisticated design made of glass, not counting aspects such as the implementation of Bluetooth 5.0, fast charging of 18 W and WiFi compatible with all bands.
