As an entry-level range, the Xiaomi Redmi 7A is based on a body whose manufacture uses plastic materials. It does so with a series of shades that imitate metal in an electric blue and a somewhat more traditional matte black.
Regarding the dimensions of the Redmi 7A, it does not exceed 15 centimeters high and 7 wide. This is mainly due to its screen, of only 5.45 inches in 18: 9 format, IPS LCD technology and HD + resolution. It should also be noted the thickness of the terminal, almost a centimeter thanks to its 4,000 mAh battery.
For the rest, the appearance of the terminal remains sober compared to other mobiles of the same brand. We did not find a fingerprint sensor, nor a drop-shaped notch, nor frames rushed to the extreme. What we do find is splash protection all over the Redmi 7A's body.
Qualcomm finally reaches the low range
Historically Xiaomi has always chosen to integrate Mediatek processors in its lower ranges of mobiles. The Xiaomi Redmi 7A is a turning point in the brand's entry range, with a Snapdragon 439 processor that comes with 2 and 3 GB of RAM and 16 and 32 GB of internal storage. The latter is also expandable by micro SD cards up to 256 GB.
As for the rest of the features, the terminal integrates Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi b / g / n, FM radio and GLONASS GPS, in addition to a huge 4,000 mAh battery with 10 W fast charge that promises to give one of the best autonomies of the world. market, having such a small screen and a low-power processor.
A single rear camera for the low-end
No double camera or triple camera systems. The Redmi 7A has a single 13-megapixel rear camera whose specifications have not yet been revealed by the brand.
Moving to the front of the device, it uses a 5 megapixel camera whose characteristics have not been provided by Xiaomi either. Everything indicates that both sensors are the same as those of the Redmi 6A, with f / 2.2 aperture in both cases and phase detection focus.
Price and availability of the Xiaomi Redmi 7A in Spain
Unfortunately, the data regarding the price and availability of the terminal have not yet been provided by Xiaomi.
Since it is a superior model to the Redmi 6A, its official price could start at 109 euros in its most basic version of 2 and 16 GB. We will update the article as soon as Redmi makes it official.
