The CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, has just revealed that MIUI prepares future updates that could put an end to the problem of inappropriate and frequent ads. Jun, through a post on the Chinese social network Weibo, has reported all the changes that he has had to deal with with the head of MIUI to offer the user the best of experiences. Among these changes is the possibility of recording calls made through Chinese WhatsApp, an application called QQ, a new recycle bin that would function as a temporary container for deleted files on the phone before disappearing completely after three days, a new magnifying glass function to improve usability for people with low vision and a new very low power mode that turns our smartphone into a terminal in which only calls and SMS work.
Regarding the issue of advertisements, Lei Jun has confirmed that the developers are working so that those considered inappropriate and intrusive are completely eliminated. Does this mean the complete end of advertising in MIUI's custom layer?
