The next flagship Asian company Xiaomi, recently valued at a figure close to 36,900 million euros, has starred in a new filtration in which have been left bare its features and appearance. We are talking about the Xiaomi Mi5, the successor to the Xiaomi Mi 4 that was presented in July of this year. According to the information that we have just learned, the Xiaomi Mi5 is a high-end smartphone that is scheduled to be officially presented during the next month of January.
Starting with the filtration referred to the technical specifications, the first thing we have learned is that the Xiaomi Mi5 will be presented with a phablet- type screen (that is, between 5.5 and six inches) that will reach a Quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. This screen will apparently be protected with a sapphire glass, which would add a significant extra resistance to the screen glass against drops.
But what is really interesting about the technical specifications of the Xiaomi Mi5 that have been known in this leak - distributed, by the way, by the American website GizmoChina - lies in the components located under the housing of this terminal.
In the opinion, the Xiaomi Mi5 incorporate a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 805/810, 4 gigabytes of RAM, connectivity 4G LTE of Internet ultra-fast and operating system Android in its latest version of Android 5.0 Lollipop. In short, features that at first glance seem to match flagships from other manufacturers such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 or the Sony Xperia Z3, for example.
Also noteworthy is the apparent decrease in the size of the side edges of the new Xiaomi E5 compared to the edges of the Xiaomi Mi 4, which already presented with reduced side edges and a thickness of 8.9 mm. The exact measurements of the new Mi5 were not disclosed in this leak, although it should be remembered that the Xiaomi Mi 4 came to the market with dimensions of 139.2 x 68.5 x 8.9 mm and weighing 149 grams. Of course, the Mi4 incorporated a five-inch screen, so without a doubtthe Xiaomi Mi5 will have dimensions significantly higher than those of the Xiaomi Mi4.
In the coming weeks we should learn more about the new Xiaomi Mi5 from the Asian company Xiaomi. And although there is no official confirmation regarding the presentation date of this smartphone, the vast majority of rumors agree that the Xiaomi Mi5 will be presented at CES 2015.
Recall that CES 2015 is a technological event that takes place in Las Vegas (United States) in a matter of days, specifically between January 6 and 9, and Xiaomi is scheduled to officially reveal all the details about the Mi5 (date of launch, price, etc.) in this same event. ¿ There will come a Xiaomi Mi5 some additional market to Asian countries ? Will it maintain a similar price to the approximately 350 euros that the Xiaomi Mi 4 costs today ? All of these questions - and more - will be resolved at CES 2015.
