Xiaomi is preparing its new high-end device for this year. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 could see the light next October, just like its predecessor did last year. In recent hours, new features of the terminal have been leaked, revealing part of its technical profile. Rumors maintain that it would arrive with a new waterfall screen, very similar to the one we have already seen in the Oppo Reno. This type of panel features a double curved design with sharper curves on each edge. The point of this is to be able to take advantage of it even more.
Although the screen size is unknown at the moment, rumors claim that it would arrive with a frequency rate of 90 Hz. Also, it would have a 2k resolution. As for the camera, the smartphone would include a 100 megapixel main sensor on the back. Xiaomi had previously announced that it would soon launch a new model with Samsung's 100 MP camera. It seems that it would be precisely this. To this must be added that it would be accompanied by a 16 megapixel super wide angle, another 12 megapixel sensor and a fourth "periscope" lens of unknown characteristics. The camera for selfies would be hidden in the upper part and it would be retractable, which means that it would only surface at the moment of taking one.
And what do we know about the processor? Everything indicates that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 would house a Snapdragon 855+ with up to 12 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. It is also expected to come with support for 5G connections. Likewise, it would equip a battery with a fast charge of 40W. Whether this refers to wireless charging remains to be seen, as the company is set to launch the Mi Charge Turbo technology for wireless charging.
Although the launch date of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 has not yet been revealed, various reports indicate that the phone could be made official this month in China. However, its predecessor did not debut until October. We will have to wait to see when the company releases it. We will be very aware to inform you promptly.
