Xiaomi mi band 4, new smart bracelet with color screen and nfc

Xiaomi continues to improve its catalog of smart bracelets and has just added the new version Xiaomi Mi Band 4. It is a model that improves on its predecessor in the section on the screen and connections. However, the company wanted to continue with the same continuous design of the previous model: polycarbonate in the capsule and rubber in the strap. The Mi Band 4 can be purchased in China in a few days from 21 euros to change. It will also be available in a special edition of "The Avengers", whose price goes up to 45 euros to change.

Color screen, now yes

If there is something that has been a before and after with respect to previous generations, it is the screen. The new Xiaomi Mi Band 4 now includes a color screen, something highly anticipated by fans of the bracelet. It is a 0.95-inch AMOLED panel with 2.5D touch technology with a resolution of 240 x 120 pixels. According to Xiaomi itself, this translates to 39.9% more viewing area. If we compare it with the Mi Band 3, the screen has grown by 0.2 inches.

Two versions according to connection

As the rumors assured, NFC connectivity reaches the new Xiaomi Mi Band 4, although only to one of the versions, whose price is slightly higher than the model without NFC. It should be noted that one of the versions of the Xiaomi Mi Band 3 also included NFC, although this did not come out of China. Hopefully on this occasion this fourth generation with NFC if it is seen by the rest of the world. Also, this version with NFC will be compatible with voice commands. In fact, in China you will be able to link to the virtual assistant of the company Xiao AI.

Regarding the rest of the connections, we can say that Bluetooth has improved notably in both models of the Mi Band 4. This connection now reaches its fifth version, improving the range and stability when linking devices. A six-axis accelerometer has also been added to improve sleep and step measurement. For the rest, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 also includes control of music playback, identification of calls and messages, a cardiac reader, which alerts us in case of detecting a sudden increase in the rate of our heart, as well as management of notices and reminders. The rest of the features are the same as the previous versions of the bracelet: Clock, alarm, stopwatch, exercise routines, countdown, etc.

Price and availability

For now, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will go on sale only in China in a few days. The version with NFC will have an exchange price of 25 euros. Without NFC it will cost 21 euros to change, so the difference is quite small. A special edition of "The Avengers" will also go on sale, the price of which grows to 45 euros.
