The fact that Xiaomi uses “tricks” to make its smartphones cheaper does not mean that this Asian manufacturer cannot also launch top-of-the-range mobiles. In this case we are talking about the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus, a true flagship that has recently undergone a certification that has revealed its design. The new My 5 Plus of Xiaomi will become a variant of phablet type of the Xiaomi Mi 5, and will be played by what might be called as a design premium type (at least, we see that the sides are metal, but not yet we can confirm the same for the rest of the case).
As this certification from TENAA (an official certification body of Asian origin) reveals, the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus is practically ready to go on the market. Available in two finishes of different housing (black and white with gold side), the new My 5 Plus of Xiaomi will be a smartphone incorporating large screen type phablet of 5.7 inches (to find this screen size the Xiaomi mobile catalog we have to refer, for example, to the Xiaomi Mi Note Pro).
But the information on this Xiaomi mobile does not end there. If we take a look at the data they handle at TechnoBuffalo.com, we will see that the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus is intended to offer a Quad HD type resolution (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) on its screen, which would translate into a pixel density of 515 ppi. Below its metal casing with added find one of the processors of the highest range market, a Snapdragon 820 from Qualcomm, as well as connectivity 4G LTE of Internet ultrarapid. The rest of the features are yet to be revealed, but the Mi 5 Plus is also planned to incorporate a battery with a capacity of 3,500 mAh (compared to the 3,000 mAh that the Mi 5 battery is expected to have).
From now on we will have to be attentive to Xiaomi's movements because, if the rumors are true, its new smartphones will give more of a headache to the most important manufacturers in the sector. For now, Xiaomi has confirmed that it will present a new device on July 16, and there are many chances that we are talking about the presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 5 or Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus (in the image that Xiaomi has published for this presentation, you can see a metallic border that could perfectly correspond to one of these two mobiles).
Of course, we can assume that neither the Xiaomi Mi 5 nor the Xiaomi Mi 5 Plus will be on sale in Spain officially, so that the only way to acquire them will be through importation. There is still a long time until we can talk about a serious and real Xiaomi landing on the European market.
