Lei Jun, Chinese founder of the Xiaomi brand, has just shown, in all its splendor, images of the expected Xiaomi phablet, the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 large terminal. This new Xiaomi brand phone will be presented in two days and we already know practically everything about him. In addition to the photographs of the terminal, an official video of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 has been published where the interested party can know, first-hand, in more detail its possible future terminal.
Features of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3
As we warned, two days after the official presentation of the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 we can already announce its characteristics, practically in full, although all of them are subject to change.
Display and layout
Big. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is a terminal for those who prefer (very) large mobiles. 6.9 inches and Full HD + resolution on a FullView screen and full dimensions of 176.2 x 87.4 x 8 millimeters, with a weight of 221 grams. It is the ideal terminal for those who want to have a mobile and a tablet at the same time. The screen occupies 79.8% of the front of the terminal, built in aluminum with a glass back. The fingerprint sensor is found on the back of the phone, next to the dual camera.
Photographic section
Regarding the main camera, we have a dual sensor of 12 (f / 2.2, PDAF) megapixels and 5 (f / 2.2 depth sensor) megapixels with which to achieve bokeh effect, with LED flash. In addition, it will have autofocus, face detection, HDR mode and panorama. Regarding the selfie camera, we will have 8 megapixels and a better focal aperture than the main one, 2.0.
Processor, memory and storage
Inside the Xiaomi Mi Max 3 we can find an eight-core Snapdragon 636 processor with a clock speed of 1.8 GHz with four different models: 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is yet to determine which versions will reach the Spanish market.
Operating system and autonomy
A terminal with a screen of almost 7 inches needs a good battery so that, at least, we can reach the entire day of use without having to look for an external charger or a wall socket. And what will we have in the new Xiaomi Mi Max 3? Well, with a battery of no less than 5,500 mAh that will help you have a range of more than a day with intensive use of the terminal. And as soon as we open it out of the box and turn it on we will have MIUI 10 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, the latest version, for the moment, of Google's operating system.
Connectivity
We are going to finish the review of the Xaomi Mi Max 3 with the connectivity section. We will have Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, AGPS and GLONASS and, of course, WiFi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac with dual band. In addition, an infrared sensor to use the mobile as a remote control, FM radio to enjoy our favorite programs and USB Type C with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging. We will not have an NFC connection for, for example, mobile payments, something that is customary in the mid-range and input range of Xiaomi Chinese terminals.
The new Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will come in two colors, gold and matte black and we still do not know anything about its price in stores. We will have to wait for it to be officially announced next Thursday, July 19.
