Can you imagine that the day comes when you can buy a mobile phone through a vending machine located in the subway station or in the middle of the street? This will be a reality in India, where Xiaomi is planning to install 50 machines of this type baptized as Mi Express in different locations. In this way, just as if they were to buy a soft drink or a bag of potatoes, just by entering a code and paying, the inhabitants of the country will be able to have their mobile or different accessories.
In the images we see different types of devices and products of the company. It will be possible to acquire from a bluetooth speaker, to new helmets, or a Redmi 7 Note Pro or Xiaomi Mi 9. The prices will not be different with respect to those of the Xiaomi online store. The good thing is that those interested can have their terminal without waiting and at the moment. At the moment, the news is limited only to India, so we do not know if this idea will be transferred to other countries and regions, including Spain.
India is one of the places where Xiaomi has the most presence and success. Therefore, it is not unreasonable that after testing one of these machines in China, the company has opted to install 50 in this emerging country. In principle they will install two in Bengaluru, capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, located on the Deccan plateau, in the southeast of the state. Then they will place the rest in other parts of the country.
As we say, one of the devices that will be part of these vending machines will be the Xiaomi Mi 9, one of their most recent high-end phones. This model has a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED panel and a FHD + resolution of 1,080 x 2,280 pixels. Its design has almost no frames, although it includes a notch in the shape of a drop of water. The terminal is also powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor, includes a triple main camera, as well as a 3,500 mAh battery with fast charging. Currently, the Xiaomi Mi 9 is priced at 500 euros in Spain.
