The NFC technology is becoming fashionable. You already know that these are the acronyms of what is known as Near Field Communication technology, or what is the same, as a wireless connection formula that helps us to exchange information from one device to another. Although we can transfer information of many types, the one that has especially succeeded is the management of payments through the mobile phone. We would avoid taking out the purse with the bills and cards. By bringing the phone closer to the store's device, the payment would be settled. Now rumors suggest that Microsoft would also be working on it.
The first information comes from the Bloomberg medium, in which it is reported about the intentions of the Redmond company. In fact, just a few days ago it became known that Google is working directly with some credit card companies to develop a feasible payment system through NFC. The fact is that according to this publication, Microsoft would be beginning to consider the possibility of developing NFC technology for the new version of Windows Phone 7. A version that should arrive in the next few months, but that still has no date. Not even approximate.
The most surprising thing is that this medium points towards the possibility that we will have the first Windows Phone 7 mobile phones equipped with NFC this year. Everything will be seen. At the moment we only know that companies like Google or Research In Motion (RIM) are working to offer this technology as soon as possible. Apple, for its part, was forceful in stating that the iPhone 5 would not include NFC, despite the fact that rumors point in other directions. As always, we will have to wait to see what Microsoft's reactions are in this regard. It is not at all unreasonable to say that all companies have their sights set on these systems.
