Wiko wim lite, great camera for selfies for less than you imagine

The French company Wiko has decided this year to launch a mid-range terminal with very interesting specifications, the Wiko Wim. And like any high-end terminal that is priced, could not miss the trimmed or Lite version of it. However, the Wiko Wim Lite maintains one of the star characteristics of its older brother. Both offers a 16 - megapixel front camera. Perfect for lovers of selfies.

But this terminal is much more than a front camera. If we are not fooled by its name, we will discover that the Wiko Wim Lite incorporates a 5-inch screen with Full HD resolution. And, in addition, it keeps inside a Snapdragon 435 processor that comes in handy. Let's review its characteristics.

Looking for the perfect selfie

One of the most striking features of the Wiko Wim is its selfie camera. Wiko's new flagship features a 16-megapixel front camera. This feature is maintained in the Wiko Wim Lite. This selfie camera also has an LED flash.

We will not see, however, the same double camera on the rear. Here the company has opted for a camera with Sony IMX258 sensor 13 megapixel. A camera that offers an f / 2.0 aperture and is accompanied by a PDAF autofocus system. You can't miss the dual LED flash. The main camera is capable of recording video in 1080p resolution at 30fps.

Balanced technical set

Being a Lite version the company has decided to change the processor. The Wiko Wim Lite incorporates a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435. It is a processor made up of eight cores running at 1.4 GHz and an Adreno 505 GPS. But what really offers a performance plus is that Wiko has equipped the Wim Lite with 3 GB of RAM. Along with the 32GB of internal storage, it makes for a very balanced set. And if we run short of storage, we can expand it using a microSD card of up to 128 GB.

As we said, the screen is made up of a 5-inch IPS panel with a Full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. This resolution allows the density to be 441 dpi. The screen is covered by 2.5D glass.

In terms of connectivity, we have the usual, such as WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2 or headphone jack port. It should be noted that the Wiko Wim Lite also incorporates a fingerprint sensor on the front. A system that allows you to associate 5 fingerprints to 5 personalized shortcuts.

The battery is 3,000 milliamps, which should give us a good autonomy, taking into account that the screen is not excessively large. This same battery would work through a fast charging system, which would allow us to get up to 60% of the battery in just 30 minutes.

Android 7.0 Nougat as standard

The Wiko Wim Lite will come with Android 7.0 Nougat as standard. But it also incorporates the Wiko UI, which includes features such as the Smart Left Page. This functionality allows you to access and manage 80% of the use of the phone from a single place, differentiating 3 sections: applications, contacts and news.
