Wiko, the French firm has just presented several terminals for this 2019. Among this new batch of terminals is the Wiko View3 Pro. A terminal intended to swell and compete in a field called the mid-range. To stand up to Xiaomi or Motorola terminals, the Wiko View3 Pro has a triple camera and a modern design in premium materials. We tell you in detail the characteristics of this terminal.

Mid-range specs with an emphasis on autonomy
Wiko has dispensed with Qualcomm for this terminal, on the contrary, inside we find a processor signed by MediaTek. It's the MediaTek Helio P60, an eight-core processor. These cores are divided into two groups of four, the first is in charge of performing tasks that perform greater power and speed, therefore they are at 2.0GHz. The other group of four cores is intended for background tasks and to keep the terminal active without consuming too much battery, its clock speed is lower.
Accompanying this processor, the Wiko View3 Pro integrates 4 or 6 GB of RAM with 64 or 128GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB through a microSD card. These data put us before a medium range designed for a more advanced user, which stores a large amount of data and uses several applications at the same time. As a result of this, the terminal has connections to the last. At the bottom we have USB C instead of microUSB as in some terminals of this range. Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band WiFi, GPS GLONASS are also not lacking in this terminal.
We anticipated its strong point, the battery. This battery is 4000 mAh so, with normal use without demanding much, games that do not demand too much, we will have a full day of use and up to two if we rush it to the maximum. Being such a large quantity, Wiko has included fast charging in this terminal so we will not have to wait long for it to be fully charged. Being a MediaTek processor and the Wiko not having specified what type of fast charge it is, we assume that it is the owner of this type of processors.
Design in premium materials but still notched, albeit in teardrop shape
The Wiko View3 Pro is intended for the mid-range, but has a construction in premium materials. The terminal is entirely a union between glass and metal. Its front has been designed with an appreciable reduction of frames on all sides, in the upper part we will see the notch in the shape of a drop of water. From the front, its large screen is striking, specifically 6.3 inches on an IPS panel with Full HD + resolution. Being IPS the viewing angles will be good as well as having a reasonable brightness.
The cameras and the fingerprint sensor are housed in the back of the terminal. The cameras are encapsulated in a vertical frame at the top left, just below them the dual-tone LED flash. The fingerprint reader is located in the center of the back at a comfortable height for the user since that is usually where the finger rests. The entire keypad is located on the right side, with the volume controls above the unlock button.
The finishes are premium, glass and metal, in addition to a modern design. The Wiko View3 Pro will be available in two colors called by the brand Ocean and Nightfall, but taking away the pretense they are turquoise and light purple. These colors have a characteristic, and that is that they have a gradient that makes the upper part of the back lighter while the lower part is darker or more intense.
Photographic section with three cameras
Apart from autonomy, the Wiko View3 Pro bets on photography. On its back we see three cameras, these three sensors have different functionalities so that the user has a greater choice depending on the scene to photograph. The main sensor is signed by Sony, it is the 12 megapixel IMX486 with an f / 2.2 focal length; the secondary sensor is a 13 megapixel wide-angle sensor, it has a width of 120 degrees; lastly, the third sensor is a 5 megapixel telephoto lens.
The advantage of having three sensors is mainly the breadth of possibilities that the user has when taking a photograph. The telephoto sensor will help to take photos with a much more realistic blur effect, but if that wasn't enough, Wiko has added IA-Artistic Blue to improve the photos with this effect. The front camera housed in the notch mounts a 16 megapixel sensor with Big Pixel technology, to improve the illumination of the photograph in difficult situations. This is done by combining four pixels into one, so we have more information in the image.
Availability and price
Wiko has not disclosed the availability of this terminal. We only know the prices in its two versions, in the 4GB and 64GB they would start from 250 euros while they would be 300 euros for the 6GB and 128GB version. Competent prices, but we cannot ignore that the mid-range is overcrowded, so Wiko may find it difficult to gain a foothold.
