The Wiko brand has announced several new mobile phones at the IFA 2017 technology fair in Berlin. Among them is the Wiko View XL, a phone with a large screen and a good camera for selfies.
In addition, it is designed to withstand shocks and drops and can be used with an ultra-resistant smart case.
The phone is DualSIM, so we can use two SIM cards with different numbers.
Display and design of the Wiko View XL
Wiko's View XL model has a 6-inch, immersive 18: 9 widescreen display. The phone is created in a metallic design and is available in black or gold.
The resolution of the mobile is HD (1080 x 720 pixels), and the panel is protected with anti-fingerprint tempered glass.
One of the most outstanding features of the smartphone is the possibility of using it with smart cases. Updates and basic information are shown on the case even if we have the phone locked.
It should also be mentioned that the phone has a fingerprint reader, which is located on the back, just below the main camera lens.
Interior and operation
Inside the Wiko View XL we find a Qualcomm quad-core processor and a 3 GB RAM. The internal space available is 32 GB, which can be expanded with an external microSD card of up to 128 GB.
Regarding the operating system, the Wiko View XL phone will be sold as standard with Android 7 Nougat.

Cameras and photo quality
The Wiko View XL has a 13-megapixel main camera, but its strong point is undoubtedly the camera for selfies. We speak of a lens 16 megapixels which allows to obtain very good results in terms of sharpness.
The camera app also offers many shooting and editing possibilities to enhance your photos. Thus, for example, we can use the Live Blur option to blur the background and sharpen the person in the foreground, use filters or soften the skin with beauty mode.
With the camera application we can also apply the automatic selection of scenes so that the mobile adjusts all the parameters according to the lighting conditions.
The main camera has video stabilization to prevent blurry pictures that are on the record. Tremors are also eliminated.
Video recording also allows timelapse or tracking of moving objects thanks to the Live Auto Zoom function.
Price and availability
The Wiko View XL smartphone will be available in the coming weeks and will be sold in Spain for a price of 230 euros. It can be purchased in gold or black.
