Wiko Robby highlights
The Wiko Robby smartphone is DualSIM, has a 5.5-inch screen and runs on a 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor and a Mali 400 MP graphics processor. Regarding the operating system, it uses Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the Wiko UI interface that includes some customization options, such as the battery saving mode.
The phone incorporates a 2500 mAh battery that offers up to 270 hours of autonomy in standby, 17 hours in conversation with the 2G network and 15 hours in the 3G network. Savings are achieved by activating Eco Mode, which the user can customize to select which functions remain active and which are deactivated in the event of low battery power.
As for the cameras, the principal is 8 megapixels and features 4x digital zoom and LED flash, and the front is of 5MP and has also flash to use in the selfies. In addition to the different photographic capture modes (such as Sport mode, Fireworks mode or continuous shooting), the Wiko Robby incorporates an editing application for images. The device can also record HD 1080 video at 30 fps.
The 5.5-inch screen has HD resolution (1280 x 720) at 267 ppi. The panel is Full Lamination, so the glass is very thin to offer better viewing angles.
Surround sound and other curiosities
The phone incorporates the Auro 3D sound system for a more immersive listening experience, as well as dual speaker and microphone. The Wiko Robby is reversible because it allows you to answer calls, listen and speak in both directions of the phone: it does not matter if it is upside down or upside down.
Although the screen of the phone is 5.5 inches, Wiko has also wanted to make it easier to use by incorporating the One-handed function: it reduces the usable surface of the screen to make it easier to use the functions with one hand.
Design and size
The smartphone Wiko Robby weighs 185 grams and measuring 155 x 79.1 x 10 mm. It has a robust design with a metallic look thanks to the aluminum construction, and is available in two colors (gold and gray).
This Wiko terminal will go on sale in Spain on May 11 for 130 euros.
At the beginning of the year, Wiko also announced new terminals in its U series: the Wiko Lenny 3 (120 euros) and the Wiko Tomy, two low-end phones at a competitive price and with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
