The Spanish division of the Wiko brand returns to the covers with a new presentation within the mobile phone market. It is the Wiko Ridge 4G, a mid- range smartphone that is presented with a five-inch screen with 1,280 x 720 pixels of resolution. The Wiko Ridge 4G incorporates further connectivity 4G LTE of ultra-fast Internet. The secondary camera is located on the front of the Wiko Ridge 4G, and offers two functions: selfies and video calls, mainly. We're talking about a camera of five megapixels that should provide more than enough quality for such functions. In addition, this camera also has a Beauty Mode that allows you to improve the finish of the selfies .

The Wiko Ridge 4G also incorporates FM Radio.

Processor and memory

The processor that the Wiko Ridge 4G incorporates under its housing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (model MSM8916) with four cores (Cortex-A53) that reaches a clock speed set at 1.2 GHz. The capacity of the RAM memory is 2 GigaBytes. With this data we can have the guarantee that the performance offered by this smartphone is more than optimal for the features it incorporates, regardless of the use that each user plans to give it.

The internal storage capacity of this smartphone is set at 16 GigaBytes, and it can be expanded through an external memory card of the microSD type with a maximum of 64 GigaBytes of space. The factory installed applications in the Wiko Ridge 4G include, in addition to the Google Play Store, apps such as Chrome, Gmail, Hangouts, Google Maps or YouTube, as well as more basic applications such as the Calculator, Calendar, Agenda or the alarm.

Connectivity and autonomy

One of the most remarkable connectivity of the Wiko Ridge 4G is its 4G LTE connectivity. We are talking about ultra-fast Internet connectivity that allows browsing through the data rate reaching a download speed of up to 150 Mbps. This connectivity is also accompanied by 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS (with A-GPS technology).

On the part of physical connectivity of this smartphone, the Dual-SIM slot deserves special mention. We are talking about a very curious slot system since it consists of a space for a Micro-SIM card and another valid space for both a Nano-SIM card and a microSD card, so that the user can choose if they want to sacrifice the ability to external storage in exchange for having an additional telephone line on the same mobile. This connectivity is complemented by a MicroUSB 2.0 output and an audio output (to connect headphones and speakers).

The Wiko Ridge 4G will be available from March in Spain in the form of a free version for a starting price set at 220 euros.
