The low range is taken over by brands like Xiaomi. It is a fact. In an attempt to compete against the Chinese giant, Wiko has presented two new terminals that want to duel with phones priced at around 100 and 150 euros. We refer to the Wiko View4 and View4 Lite, the natural evolution of the Wiko View3 presented during the Mobile World Congress last year. The new devices of the French firm place the photographic section and the battery as a priority in the fourth iteration of the View series. Will they be enough to fight in a crowded low-end of Chinese firms? We see it below.

Same design, same screen, different autonomy
The French company has decided to implement a traced design in the two low-end terminals. Both use a 6.52-inch screen whose matrix is made up of an IPS panel with HD + resolution. The manufacturer claims that it is capable of reaching 450 nits of brightness, something that is not very common in this price range. The chassis of the two devices, by the way, is made of polycarbonate, in the absence of official confirmation. The difference between one and the other is marked by the thickness and size, precisely due to the presence of a battery that is superior in capacity in the View4.
Specifically, the mobile phone has a 5,000 mAh module capable of providing up to three days of autonomy according to official data. The View4 Lite opts for a 4,000 mAh module that ensures up to two days of autonomy. It is unknown if they are accompanied by a fast charging system. What we do know is that they have a micro USB connection, which will significantly reduce the charging speed.
Finally, it should be noted the absence of a fingerprint sensor. We do not know if Android facial recognition will be used to unlock access to the system.
RAM: the only difference between the View4 and the View4 Lite
So is. While the View4 Lite opts for a 2GB RAM configuration, the View4 features 3GB of RAM. Both have a capacity of 64 GB, and both have the Mediatek 6762D processor, a processor that is in the low range within the Chinese firm.
The rest of the specifications are identical in both cases: 4G LTE, headphone jack, FM radio… The presence of Android 10 stands out as the base version of the two terminals.
Three cameras to compete with Xiaomi
The camera configuration that Wiko has chosen is based on a trio of sensors made up of 13, 5 and 2 megapixel cameras. While the former acts as the main sensor, the latter uses a 114º wide-angle lens to capture images with a high visual range.
The last sensor is intended to capture background information in photos captured in Portrait mode. Face Beauty, HDR, Time Lapse, Slow Motion, AI, Bokeh, Google Lens, Live filter are some of the effects that we can find in the camera application along with a Professional mode that promises to provide manual controls. As for the front camera, the difference between the two phones is based on the sensor resolution: 5 megapixels in the View4 Lite and 8 in the View4.
Price and availability of the Wiko View4 and View4 Lite in Spain
Through the Italian medium HDBlog we can know that both devices will arrive from March for a price of 130 and 170 euros respectively.
