It seemed that we were going to have no choice but to forget about the Microsoft Lumia 1030, especially after rumors about this new high-end smartphone from the American company Microsoft were disproved. But, even before we have managed to forget these rumors, some new leaked photographs have once again been seen on the network revealing what the Microsoft McLaren prototype looks like, the smartphone that was planned to give life to the Microsoft Lumia 1030 for this succeed the current Nokia Lumia 1020.
Right now it is completely unknown what exact model of smartphone is Microsoft we're seeing in the photographs and, indeed, any technological means has been unable to confirm whether it is a prototype still in development. Even in spite of everything, the latest known data suggests that we are looking at the prototype of the Microsoft McLaren, a project for a high-end smartphone with which Microsoft could try to stomp into the mobile phone market after the acquisition from Nokia's mobile division.
According point leaks, smartphone a screen appears in these includes photographs five to six inches with 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a processor Qualcomm Snapdragon of four cores (type unknown), 2 gigabytes of memory RAM, 32 gigabytes internal storage (and, from what can be seen in the photographs, we are talking about expandable storage using external microSD cards) and, how could it be otherwise, the Windows Phone operating system.
The main camera of this smartphone has not transcended beyond the data that indicates that the sensor incorporated in this camera is of the PureView type and, instead of coming with a Xenon Flash like the Lumia 1020, it incorporates a double-LED Flash. Therefore, we do not know if we're talking about a better camera compared to the main camera of 41 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization with which introduced the Nokia Lumia 1020 back in the month of July of last year 2013.
At the moment there is no official confirmation regarding this smartphone. The American company Microsoft has confirmed that it will be present at the Mobile World Congress 2015, so that if we had to speculate on the official date of the presentation of a new mobile from the Lumia range we would probably point directly to the month of March -and, specifically, to this technological event of MWC 2015 -.
And in the event that no new smartphone from the Lumia range is presented at the Mobile World Congress 2015 technological event, at least we can expect new details about the Windows 10 update for mobile phones, which we remember has been confirmed officially to be distributed in all the mobiles that today work with Windows Phone 8.
