Last year we learned that BQ was saying goodbye as a brand. Vingroup, the largest business holding in Vietnam, acquired 51% of the Spanish company with the aim of achieving international expansion. The result of this operation translates today with the arrival of the Vsmart Active 1+ and Joy 1+, two of four terminals that are expected in our country and that will be distributed through Media Markt throughout the Spanish territory.
VSmart Active 1+, the advantage of the family
The most prominent model of the BQ-Vingroup merger under the Vsmart label is the VSmart Active 1+. The terminal has a current design, with notch, in which the frames are very reduced to give the panel greater prominence. This one has a size of 6.18 inches and Full HD + resolution. Inside the Active 1+ there is room for a Snadragon 660 processor, accompanied by a 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of storage capacity, expandable through the use of microSD.
At the photographic level, the device includes a double sensor of 12 and 24 megapixels with an aperture of f / 1.8. The pixel size is 1.28 and 0.9 microns. The front sensor has a resolution of 20 megapixels with front flash to improve selfies in low light conditions. Another of its features is Android 8.1 as an operating system, or a 3,650 mAh battery with fast charge. Also, it is necessary to mention its rear fingerprint reader or facial recognition to improve security and make faster mobile payments. The terminal will be sold exclusively on Media Markt, like the rest of the models, at a price of 350 euros.
VSmart Joy 1+, the little one of the family
As for the Joy 1+, it has a 6.2-inch TotalView screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. Like the previous model, it has a double camera, although in this case somewhat more modest, it is the smallest of the house for something. The dual sensor has a resolution of 13 + 2 megapixels with f / 2.0 aperture and dual flash. The front camera is 16 megapixels with Tetracell technology and beauty mode. Its design is similar to its range brother, with almost no frames and a notch on the front.
It will be available soon also on Media Markt in black and blue with a starting price of 200 euros.
