Vodafone launches palm, an ultralight smartphone compatible with vodafone onenumber

For some time now, the operator Vodafone, in collaboration with several mobile phone manufacturers, is launching a series of phones signed under the same company name. This is the example of the Vodafone Smart N9 or the N9 Lite, two mid-range devices whose availability is limited exclusively to customers of the English operator. On this occasion, Vodafone launches Palm, a smartphone called "ultramobile" with a size much smaller than current mobile phones and compatible with OneNumber, the service that allows you to enjoy the same phone number on up to four devices at the same time and with one single SIM card.

Although the name may be misleading with the old Palm PDAs, the truth is that it has nothing to do with them. Vodafone Palm is a mini smartphone with Android as the base system and with functions of a complete smartphone.

In summary, the company's new device is a terminal with a size of only 96.6 millimeters high by 50.6 wide and 62.5 grams in weight. The screen is based on a 3.3-inch panel with HD resolution, and has a Snapdragon 435 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. As for the photographic section, it has two rear and front cameras of 12 and 8 megapixels with LED flash and autofocus.

For the rest, the Vodafone Palm has an 800 mAh battery, LTE, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and Android Oreo 8.1. Of course, it is compatible with OneNumnber.

Price and availability

Regarding the price and availability of the Vodafone Palm, the company's device will begin to be available from December 10 for a free price of 410 euros. Hiring the OneNumber service for both Palm and other compatible devices entails a monthly fee of 6 euros without any type of permanence.
