The Chinese brand Vivo has announced new smartphones after unveiling the features of the Vivo V5. The new terminals, the Vivo X9 and the Vivo X9 Plus, have specifications that will fit in quite well as competition from high-end terminals on the market.
The two new terminals stand out especially for having a double front camera to improve the quality of selfies. Although the brand has already bet on other models by incorporating powerful lenses for the front cameras, in these models we see a double front camera for the first time.
Vivo X9 smartphone features
The Vivo X9 phone has a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen and Full HD resolution (1080 pixels x 1920 pixels). Inside are a processor Snapdragon 625 and operating system Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the customization layer FunTouch OS 3.0 of Vivo.
The RAM memory and storage space options vary, and different versions of the terminal can be obtained according to these characteristics. There will, therefore, models with 4 GB of RAM and others with 6 GB. The internal storage space will be 64 GB or 128 GB, although in either case it can be expanded with an external microSD card.
The main camera is 16 megapixels, with f / 2.0 and flash, but the star element is the striking front chamber formed by double lens 20 megapixels + 8 megapixels.
The Vivo X9 smartphone is DualSIM and has a fingerprint reader, 3050 mAh battery and fast charging technology. The sale price in the market will be about 400 dollars (approximately 375 euros), although it will vary depending on the version chosen. It will go on sale in the Asian market on December 26.
Vivo X9 Plus, a premium version for the most demanding
The Vivo X9 Plus model has a larger size but also greater features in terms of performance and battery. Its sale price in the market is not yet known, but it is likely to be close to approximately 450 euros.
The screen of this phone is of type Super AMOLED 5.88 inches and full HD resolution. The model is therefore slightly larger than the Vivo X9 and fits more easily into the phablet category.
The processor is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 instead of the 625 model, and all versions of this Vivo X9 Plus will be sold with 6 GB of RAM. You can choose the internal storage space (64 GB or 128 GB), which can also be expanded using an external microSD card.
This phone also has a fingerprint reader and is DualSIM. It has a 4000 mAh battery with fast charging technology.
At the same as in Vivo X9, in the version Plus we found a main 16 megapixel camera and dual front camera 20 + 8 megapixels. The 20 megapixel lens has an IMX376 sensor with f / 2.0 aperture, while the second lens allows you to add depth to your photos.
