OnePlus follows the trend of launching two terminals in the same year and, following the philosophy of brands such as Xiaomi, tries to adjust the price as much as possible, thus offering mobiles with high-end features at a reasonable price. The one presented last November 2018, OnePlus 6T, is joined by the first terminal of the Chinese brand for this 2019, its new flagship the OnePlus 7. And, of course, days go by and they become a festival of leaks that make that we arrive at the presentation date with the terminal already known from beginning to end.
The new OnePlus 7 could come with notch
Now we can learn more about its design thanks to the supposed images that have appeared from some leaked cases that could belong to the OnePlus 7. In the images we can see a terminal with a screen practically without frames, with a tiny notch that would house the front camera. This would deny previous rumors that suggested that this terminal would follow in the footsteps of the Oppo F11 Pro that includes a retractable telescopic camera, which is hidden inside the mobile in order to dispense with the, for some, annoying front notch on the screen.
According to the image, the OnePlus 7 would not be part of the frameless mobiles like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and it would have some small upper and lower stripes, as we saw in the previous OnePlus 6T. In fact, if we look closely at both designs, they appear to be practically a carbon copy. It is clear that these images have to be taken with caution in case, in the end, they turn out not to be real.
Little is known about this new high-end terminal from the OnePlus brand. As has already been corroborated, it will not have wireless charging and will have, inside, the new Snapdragon 855. This is a processor manufactured in 7 nanometers and eight cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. Although this is the first Qualcomm processor compatible with the new 5G line, the OnePlus will not be. At least we will see a computer with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
As for the presentation date, it is speculated that it could happen between the months of May-June. As for the price, the OnePlus 6T in its basic model came out at a price of 550 euros so this OnePlus 7 is expected to surpass it.
