Did you know that Netflix has hidden categories within its mobile application? By default, the platform adjusts the interface to our tastes and interests with a set of categories adapted to our profile. Comedy, TV Series, Fiction… Beyond the categories shown by the application, the truth is that Netflix has more than 100 different types of content. To activate these hidden categories in Netflix we will have to resort yes or yes to a series of codes, which we will provide below.
How to activate hidden codes in the Netflix app
Regardless of the operating system we are in, activating the hidden categories is really simple. Being categories that the application does not show by default, we will have to use a web browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
Inside the browser we will write the following address:
Where the category code goes, we will have to replace the text with one of the codes that we will see below. We can also access directly by pasting the link in the search engine. It will automatically redirect us to the Netflix application on our mobile.

How to save hidden Netflix categories on mobile
Unfortunately, Netflix does not allow us to store hidden categories in the mobile application. If we have Google Chrome as the main browser, we can save web pages on the desktop of our Android mobile to directly access the category that we want to consult. Previously we will have to uninstall the Netflix app to prevent it from opening automatically.
With the category link copied to the clipboard, we will paste it into the browser's address bar to access the Netflix page. Next we will click on the three points in the upper bar and activate the Add to home screen option, as we can see in the image below.
Now we just have to select the name and the icon. A direct link to the category will automatically be generated. If we reinstall the Netflix app, it will open when clicking on the saved category.
