Although there are still a few months for the presentation of the OnePlus 7, there are several characteristics of the device that we know today. Yesterday the first real image of the mobile was filtered with a design very similar to that of the OnePlus 6T. Now a new leaked photograph reveals what until now was nothing more than assumptions. And it seems that it will finally have a sliding mechanism very similar to that seen in other models of the same business group such as the Oppo Find X.
The OnePlus 7 will have a sliding mechanism to hide its front camera
Not a day has passed since the first leak of the OnePlus 7 and today another comes through the well-known Twitter user @Steven_Sbw.
the image in question, as can be seen just above this paragraph, coincides with yesterday's leak. In summary, the terminal will have a lower frame identical in size to that of the OnePlus 6T and a lower frame much smaller than that of the aforementioned OnePlus mobile. This is largely due to the integration of a sliding mechanism that will be activated when using the front camera or through facial unlocking.
And it is that despite the fact that it cannot be seen in either of the two filtered images, logic tells us that the company will opt for this method, since the front of the OnePlus 7 lacks any camera. It is also not ruled out that it integrates an actionable camera in the purest VIVO Nex style.
Possible features of the OnePlus 7
As for the rest of the aspects, it is expected to have a specification sheet similar to the OnePlus 6T.
Processor Snapdragon 855, 6 and 8 GB of RAM and 128 and 256 GB of internal storage. In the photographic section, we do expect some improvements regarding this, such as the integration of a third ToF sensor or the improvement of the focal aperture of its lenses.
As for the battery and other components of the terminal, they are expected to improve compared to the previous generation. 4,000 mAh battery and compatibility with 5G networks. It is also expected to implement a more advanced USB version (possibly USB Type C 3.1) and a fingerprint sensor with a new ultrasound-based technology; the same as the one that the Samsung Galaxy S10 is supposed to carry.
