A screenshot leaked on the net has just confirmed the imminent arrival of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update to the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra from the Japanese company Sony. According to what we can see in this screenshot, the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update will reach the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra in a file under the name of 19.1.1.C.0.56. This same file is the one that appeared certified a few days ago on the network, and although at first everything seemed to indicate that it was only a minor update, the screenshot that has been leaked this time confirms that the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra will go fromAndroid 4.4.2 KitKat (the version under which it works from an update released in July) to Android version 4.4.3.
The new features of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update compared to Android 4.4.2 KitKat are practically negligible, since all the changes affect only the internal code of the Android operating system. The Android 4.4.3 update is designed with the idea of fixing small bugs and improving the security of the operating system, although we do not know if Sony has also taken advantage of this update to introduce any specific fix for the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra.
On the other hand, considering that the Android 4.4.3 KitKat update for the Sony Xperia T2 Ultra has been certified at the same time as the Sony Xperia M2 update, it is not at all unreasonable to think that Sony could have planned to launch simultaneously the same Android 4.4.3 update on both the Xperia T2 Ultra and the Xperia M2. After all, both phones work today under the Android 4.4.2 KitKat version of the Android operating system.
The new update of the Sony Xperia M2 should start officially distributed in a matter of days, so that all owners of this smart phone will receive a notification on your mobile at the time the update of Android 4.4.3 KitKat is available for download. The first to receive the update will be users who have a Sony Xperia T2 Ultra in its free version, while those who have purchased it through an operator will have to wait an additional time. Anyone who wants to check the availability of the update manually can follow these steps:
- First we must enter the Settings application of our mobile. This application is represented by the icon of some tools.
- Once inside the application, click on the " About phone " section that appears at the bottom of the screen.
- Next, click on the "System update " option and follow the instructions that will appear on the screen. In this way we can check if there is an update available for download and, if there is one, we will simply have to download it and wait for it to be installed automatically.
