The official page of Samsung in Russia has just published, to put on sale, a housing model of the new Samsung Galaxy J2 2018. On the product page we can see the housing that also reveals how the new design will be low-end terminal of the Korean brand. We can see that there will be 5 casing models, with black, white, pink, light blue and gold colors. Its name, according to the page, is Jelly Cove and it is a rubbery case, soft to the touch and that conforms to the design of the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 allowing its use one hundred percent. As for the design of the Samsung Galaxy J2, we can even see a photograph on the same page, presenting a rounded model with a physical front button, as is customary in the entry and average range of the brand. As we could foresee, we have quite noticeable frames, leaving the infinity screen for higher models. It is not expected to include a fingerprint sensor. In the back, we find the hole for the main lens and in the front, the selfie camera and the LED notification light.
According to rumors, the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 will be a terminal with a 5-inch screen and a fairly restrained resolution: 540 x 960. According to the website, the case of this terminal has dimensions of 74.4 x 146.3 x 10.3 millimeters, so that the phone will be slightly smaller. The rumors regarding the processor are directed towards the Snapdragon 425 model (four cores and a clock speed of 1.4 GHz), although the European model will surely bring with it the brand's own, an Exynos similar in performance. It will have 1.5 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage expandable via microSD card.
Regarding the cameras, we could find an 8 megapixel main lens with autofocus, LED flash and Full HD recording. On the part of the selfie camera, we stayed at 5 megapixels. Its battery will be 2,600 mAh and it will run under Android 7.1. Also, FM Radio, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS.
