These last weeks we are seeing how the Samsung Galaxy S10 is being the main protagonist of most of the news. Although its presentation is estimated for the month of February next year, specifically during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in 2019, several characteristics of the aforementioned terminal are currently known. Last week, for example, we learned that the tenth model of the Samsung S series will be the first of the company to have no more and no less than five cameras. A few minutes ago, thanks to a supposed benchmark based on HTML5 of the Galaxy S10, we can know that the South Korean terminal will have even more resolution and screen size than the Galaxy S9.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 will have a larger screen with a higher resolution
After the iPhone XS, XS Max and XR, the South Korean company's Galaxy S10 is the mobile that is generating the most expectation during 2018. The reason for this would be the possible implementation of a fingerprint sensor under the terminal screen. Now we can find out more details about its screen thanks to the publication of the result of a benchmark on the HTML5test website, known in the technological world for filtering a good part of the characteristics of most mobile phones.
As can be seen in the image above, a Samsung model with the code SM-G405F has filtered its score in a well-known benchmark based on HTML 5. Beyond the amount of score obtained from the terminal in question, what stands out the most from the report is the resolution of the screen, which shows a data of 412 x 869 pixels. Let's remember that the same test on a Samsung Galaxy S9 gave us a resolution of 412 x 846 pixels. This not only confirms the higher resolution of the Samsung Galaxy S10 screen, but also its larger size. Both aspects would be affected by the integration of a panel with a different ratio than usual. Specifically, a 19: 9, somewhat higher than the current Galaxy S9, which has 18.5: 9.
Another detail that most attracts our attention is the version of Android that the device will have: Android 9 Pie. Although its departure in February makes us think that it will have the latest version of the system, it is worth noting that Samsung is already working on a new version of its Samsung Experience customization layer, which is expected to be released together with the S10.
