A review of 2018 samsung phones with price and where to buy

Throughout 2018 Samsung has been leaving us examples of how telephony is advancing and what paths the sector is taking. The evolution of its terminals has been evident, both in terms of design and hardware. Samsung has launched three flagship devices (Galaxy S9, S9 + and Note 9), to which are added other models that have launched such interesting features as the triple or quad camera. The South Korean, even, already has a team with perforation in the screen (Galaxy A8s), which raises it more to infinity than ever.

To put a bit of order to this year's Samsung mobile catalog, below we review all the models that we have known, with prices and where to buy.

Samsung Galaxy A8

Although theoretically the Samsung Galaxy A8 was announced in December 2017, we started the year with the launch of this model, one of the most interesting mid-range of the company. It is a device with a double camera for selfies, an eight-core processor and a fast-charging battery. This terminal already foreshadowed that the company was going to opt for infinite panels, with almost no presence of frames, both for the high range and for the medium.

The Samsung Galaxy A8 can currently be found in different stores at a price that starts at 260 euros. On Amazon or Mobile Cost is available at this price. Other stores like Fnac offer it for about 290 euros.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 +

Hours before the Mobile World Congress kicked off, Samsung unveiled its current flagships to the world. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 + remain faithful to the style of the family, but the evolution is more than evident. Among some of its main novelties we can highlight a new purple color, an even more infinite screen, a brighter camera and Live Focus function, which we already knew in the Note 8 of the previous year.

The devices have been falling in price as the year progressed. Currently, you can find the standard model for around 500 euros in stores such as Costo Móvil or SmartYou. If you can't wait to get it, it's available at Media Markt for 650 euros. For its part, the Samsung Galaxy S9 + costs in stores such as Mobile Cost 570 euros. You can also get it through Amazon if you pay 700 euros.

Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6 +

In May, Samsung unveiled two entry phones for the A range. The Samsung Galaxy A6 and A6 + boast a beautiful metallic design and features that are not bad for users who want to make simple use of the mobile. The most interesting feature is the Plus model, which offers a dual main sensor and a 24-megapixel resolution selfie camera.

The Samsung Galaxy A6 can now be bought discounted in Worten at a price of 200 euros. If you prefer a better camera, more screen and performance, the Galaxy A6 + can be yours for only 20 euros more if you buy it in Media Markt.

Samsung Galaxy J6

This year, Samsung has reserved the Galaxy J6 for the low-end, an affordable terminal with a simple design, but which does not lack an infinite panel. Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has been one of the most anticipated devices of this year, and, without a doubt, the wait has been worth it. It is a terminal for those who want a large screen (it includes one of nothing more and nothing less than 6.4 inches), great power and a photographic section that complies with a note. To all this we must add an S Pen stylus, an accessory to work with the terminal more quickly and easily.

The terminal can be purchased on Amazon for less than 1,000 euros (980 euros) with 512 GB of storage. With a cash payment, in Vodafone it is available at a price of 950 euros, with the possibility of paying it little by little with a Red rate.

Samsung Galaxy A7 2018

After knowing mobiles like the Note 9 or the Galaxy S9 and S9 + we thought that the company would no longer surprise with any device. Nothing to see. Samsung God unveiled a few weeks ago the Samsung Galaxy A7 2018, the company's first triple camera phone, which also offers interesting features. Among them we can mention an eight-core processor or a 24-megapixel selfie camera.

If you are interested in this model, you can get it through Mobile Cost by paying 260 euros. It is one of the cheapest prices. It is also sold in other stores such as Amazon (310 euros) or Phone House (340 euros).

Samsung Galaxy A9

Also surprising is the Samsung Galaxy A9, the first device to include four cameras on its rear. It is one of its main claims, but not the only one. The A9 also comes with a nice design, hardly the presence of frames, or a 3,800 mAh battery with fast charging. Its official price is 600 euros, although some online stores sell it somewhat cheaper. On Amazon, for example, you can save 50 euros when you buy it (with free shipping through Amazon Prime).

Samsung Galaxy A8s

Throughout 2018 we have seen how infinite screens have become more and more infinite. However, the notch is something that many manufacturers have not been able to avoid, for want of not knowing where to place the front sensor. Despite the fact that Samsung is one of the few companies that has not joined the notch craze, it has not been able to reduce the frames as much as it would have liked. This is something that is beginning to change. We have seen it a few days ago with the Samsung Galaxy A8s, the first mobile to include a perforation in the panel to reduce the frames on both sides as much as possible.

It is precisely in this tiny hole where a sensor for selfies has been placed, which in this case has a resolution of 24 megapixels. The terminal also boasts a triple main camera and up to 8 GB of RAM. Of course, for the moment it has not been put on sale, but let's hope it happens at the beginning of 2019.
