It seems that the fashion for mobile battle royale games is more booming than ever. Since the release of PUBG, several companies have launched their version for Android and iOS; we already saw some a little less than a month ago. Now it seems that a new title is coming soon from the hand of Tencent in collaboration with Ubisoft. As you have been able to read in the title, it is about Call Of Duty, the mythical war game that according to the people of Ubisoft will end up reaching mobile platforms sooner rather than later with an “experience similar to the original game”, according to the words of the company.
Call of Duty for mobile will be very similar to PUBG and Fortnite
Battler Royale over here, Battle Royale over there. Tencent and Epic Games are the companies that lay the golden egg. Both PUBG and Fortnite are the games that have given the most to talk about during this year 2018. And its success is such that there are many companies that decide to develop a game similar to these. Ubisoft is the last to jump on the bandwagon, because just a few minutes ago it announced that it is developing a new title for mobile platforms.
It was this morning when Rob Kostich, one of the top managers of the company and the famous war game, has confirmed that Ubisoft is developing a new Call of Duty for mobile phones together with Tencent. In the same statements Rob has assured that this version will have an experience very close to the original game, with realistic physics and first-person handling of the player. As if this were not enough, Rob himself has also stated that the game in question will have different game modes and characters and weapons in quantity.
As for the release of CoD, for the moment we will have to wait a few months, although initially its distribution will be limited to the Chinese country. The game is later expected to launch globally on both Android and iOS. We will have to wait until new statements from some of the companies to know more details of the aforementioned title, although surely it will be similar to PUBG due to the intervention of Tencent.
