When we think we have enough control over the different launches and mobile announcements scheduled for each month, there is always some surprise, some unexpected “appearance”. That is the case of the ZTE BV0800, a model unknown to the press that we have been aware of when it appears on the website of the Chinese agency TENAA. Thanks to this we have been able to access a fairly detailed description of the characteristics of the new terminal, in addition to the photo of the header.
Through this image we can already highlight some important elements. The first is related to the camera, although to be more exact we must say "the" cameras: a double rear camera appears at the top of the rear area, and another simple camera this time occupies a lot of prominence at the rear. We can also highlight the fact of not finding a fingerprint sensor on the back, as was common in the latest ZTE models, and yet we did find a button on the front, something unusualin the Chinese brand. This is where we have later been able to verify that the fingerprint reader will be found.
Regarding the technical characteristics of this unknown ZTE BV0800 (which, we imagine, will not be its final commercial name), we can already highlight a few, thanks to its appearance on the TENAA website. The screen, on the one hand, has a size of 5.2 inches with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), and the processor it uses is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 octa- core 1.4 GHz, with an Adreno 505 GPU.
From here there are three different possibilities related to RAM and internal storage: we have a first model with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM, a second model with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, and finally a third most powerful model with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. In all cases the storage is expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. To finish with the performance section, this ZTE BV0800 will work with Android 7.0 Nougat, a very good and unusual news among mid-range launches.
Speaking now of the issue that both woke us the curiosity to analyze the images, we have access to information that we confirmed the resolution of the cameras of this terminal: at the rear, two goals of 13 and 2 megapixels. On the front, a sensor of 13 megapixels. When it comes to video, both can record in Full HD. In the absence of testing it, the photographic equipment seems to offer a multitude of possibilities, both in sharpness and in terms of perspective.
We are not forgetting autonomy, which is also a topic of great interest to the consumer and of which we have also been able to access details. The ZTE BV0800 will include a 2,730 milliamp non-removable battery, although what we have not been able to know is if it will have fast charging technology.
In short, we are talking about a very versatile mid-range device, which we already know a lot about but which we would like to know commercially, with a confirmed price and departure date. We will keep you informed when that happens.
