The study was carried out by a British laboratory with a single object of analysis: the mobile phone. In total, 30 terminals were analyzed, of which seven appeared plagued by environmental bacteria. Ultimately, the scientists found that many mobile phones were covered in bugs known as coliforms, a name that represents fecal bacteria, also known as Escherichia coli .
