Manufacturers are beginning to skip the script. We know that Android 3.0 Honeycomb will not be long in coming, but the companies that equip their devices with Android platforms do not care, and they are already beginning to announce the presentation of their little gadgets, despite the fact that the 3.0 update of this operating system has not yet it's official. The Japanese Toshiba is one of these manufacturers, which has already taken its nails with the tablet that it will take to CES 2011 in Las Vegas and which it plans to use to scratch a bit of the highly disputed market share of what will be one of the commercial battlefields of this year.
Toshiba has not given his name tablet with Android 3.0 Honeycomb. But that's not a problem for us to have been able to take a look at it, thanks to the photos published by the Engadget colleagues. In design it is slightly reminiscent, although with notable exceptions, of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. It's larger, as it has a ten-inch screen, and it also appears thicker and heavier. It does not yet have a release date, and we could not anticipate anything official about the price.
The vast panel of the tablet from Toshiba with Android 3.0 Honeycomb will have a good resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels (much better than a netbook midrange). As so many other devices in this category we will see throughout the year, the tablet from Toshiba have a heart of dual - core. The Japanese manufacturer has decided on an NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, with a power of one GHz per core, something that we will see in mobile phones and other tablets.
In the multimedia section and connections, the tablet from Toshiba with Android 3.0 Honeycomb is anticipated quite interesting. For starters, we see that it will have a dual camera combo. Behind a five megapixel sensor; ahead, two megapixels. In addition, this device will take advantage of the option of launching high definition signals, since it incorporates an HDMI port, which is accompanied by a USB, as well as an external memory card slot .
