ZTE could announce at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona the successor to the ZTE Axon 7, its current flagship. The device, known in the leaks as the ZTE Axon 9, would arrive with a large number of features. To begin with, it would have an infinite screen of nothing more and nothing less than 6 inches. This new model would also have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 4 or 6 GB of RAM. Regarding the photographic section, it would offer a 20-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel resolution selfie camera. For now, we do not know when it would go on sale and at what price. An infinity screen with a metallic design
The new ZTE Axon 9 would boast an infinite screen. This would have a size of 6 inches and a resolution QHD +. The terminal would be built in metal with fine and elegant lines. There would be almost no presence of frames and their edges would be slightly rounded. In addition, one of the available colors would be blue, as can be seen in the filtered photos. The rear of the Axon 9 would be very clean, with a double camera and the Axon logo starring at the bottom. For now it is unknown if it could have a fingerprint reader on the start button, which, if you look at the images, would be completely tactile.
Inside the ZTE Axon 9 there would be room for a Snapdragon 845 processor, Qualcomm's latest beast. This SoC would be accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM. The storage capacity would be 64, 128 or 256 GB, expandable by using microSD type cards. Therefore, there would be several versions to choose from according to the needs of each user.
Good camera for selfies
The photographic section of the ZTE Axon 9 is expected to have a simple configuration, although with cameras to match. The device would equip a single 20-megapixel main sensor with a dual-tone flash. On the front there would be another 13 megapixel one, perfect for quality selfies. This new model would also be governed by Android 8.0 Oreo, the latest version of Google's mobile platform. In terms of connections, the ZTE Axon 9 would offer WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, as well as GPS or NFC. On the other hand, this mobile would have a 3,300 mAh battery. Of course, we do not know if it would have fast charging. In the event that it ends up like this, this system would allow us to charge the device in a few minutes.
As we say, it is possible that the Asian firm will announce its new team at this year's Mobile World Congress. The fair will open its doors from March 26 to 1. If not, we do not think it will take long to make it known. As soon as we have more information about it, we will let you know.
