The presentation date of the Samsung Galaxy S10 has finally been confirmed. A little over a month before the launch event, most of the device's features have already been leaked beforehand. Aspects such as the design, the camera and even the technical specifications are already known by almost all media. At the moment, it is known that there will be three models that will hit the market during the month of February, although it is possible that there will be a fourth.
This time we have made a compilation of all the information that is known about the Galaxy S10 in all its variants, including the Galaxy S10, the S10 Lite (better known as Galaxy S10 E) and the Galaxy S10 Plus.
Up to four versions of the Samsung Galaxy S10
To date, it is known that three will be the number of mobiles that Samsung will present at the event dedicated on February 20. Recently, sources close to the company have stated in the Wall Street Journal that a new flexible screen phone will be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S10 in what appears to be a double event. What is not known is if it will belong to the Galaxy S range or if on the contrary it will be part of what is supposed to be the Flex range.
Be that as it may, what is a fact is that we will see four devices that are very similar to each other, although with some differences in design and features, in addition to price.
Design and screen with hardly any frames with fingerprint sensor included
The rationale behind Samsung's high-end revamp is mainly due to the rumored redesign. Days ago we saw how Samsung filtered what many media take for granted that the Samsung Galaxy S10 will be. The design, as can be seen in the images, will be based on a screen with hardly any upper and lower frames, with the exception of the camera, which could be embedded in the same area as the screen.
Samsung leaked design of the supposed Samsung Galaxy S10.
As for the screen sizes of its three versions, it is known that they will come with the following distribution:
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite (or “E”): 5.8 inches, Super AMOLED technology and Full HD + resolution to reduce costs
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: 6.1 inches, Super AMOLED technology and QHD + resolution
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: 6.4 inches, Super AMOLED technology and QHD + resolution
Regarding the rest of the design aspects of the three devices, it is expected that they will be very similar to each other and with identical lines to that of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Horizontal distribution of the cameras and a body made of glass with IP68 protection is what It is predicted according to the latest leaks.

Last but not least, it is known that at least the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus will have an on-screen fingerprint sensor. The S1o Lite, on the other hand, could implement the sensor on the back, in the same way as the current Galaxy S9.
The best cameras ever seen on a mobile phone
If Samsung has historically stood out for something, it is for mounting the best sensors on their phones, and with the new generation of the Galaxy S it was not going to be less. Although the technical specifications of their cameras are not known, some leaks have confirmed several of the key aspects of the sensors that they will integrate.
Leaked image from the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus camera.
Specifically, the leaks claim that they will come with the following camera layout:
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: a single front camera and two rear cameras (RGB lens and zoom)
- Samsung Galaxy S10: two front cameras and two rear cameras (RGB lens and zoom)
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: two front cameras and three rear cameras (RGB lens, wide angle and zoom or ToF)
In what has to do with their specifications, today they are a mystery, but it is expected that they have similar characteristics to those of the Samsung Galaxy A7 and Galaxy S9, with sensors of up to 20 megapixels and variable focal aperture. That could be lower than the current f / 1.5 of the Galaxy Note 9. Various photography modes (panoramic, bokeh and night, among others) are also expected.
The Latest in Hardware - Exynos 9820 for Everyone
The internal hardware of the new Samsung is the only data that today has been confirmed by the company after the official presentation of its new generation of processors. We refer to the Exynos 9820, an eight-core processor based on three different architectures (2x Custom CPU + 2x Cortex-A75 and 4x Cortex-A55) together with a Mali G76 MP12 graphics module. In theory, it is up to seven times faster than the previous 9810 in terms of processing and up to 40% faster in graphics processing.
But without a doubt, where the processor draws the most attention is in what has to do with its ability to take photos and video. Capable of recording in 8K at 30 FPS and 4K at 150 FPS, it is the only processor in the world with the ability to record at qualities similar to those of professional cameras.
Finally, if we refer to the amount of RAM and storage of your devices, we find a distribution similar to the one that we can see just below this paragraph according to the latest leaks:
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite: 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage
- Samsung Galaxy S10: 6 GB of RAM and 128 and 512 GB of internal storage
- Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus: 8 GB of RAM and 128, 512 and 1000 GB of internal storage
What is not yet known is whether they will be expandable via microSD cards. It is also unknown if they will come with a headphone jack, although everything indicates that not due to several statements from workers from the Samsung components factory. Aspects such as the battery are currently a mystery. Others such as those referring to wireless connections will be predictably similar to those of the latest Huawei phones except for 5G, which could be released with a special version of the S10, possibly called Samsung Galaxy S10 5G.
