Samsung has put the batteries in terms of variety in its mid-range and starter. At the end of the year 2019 we will be able to count in these sectors of the Korean brand's catalog with no less than seven different models: Samsung Galaxy A10, Samsung Galaxy A20, Samsung Galaxy A30, Samsung Galaxy A50, Samsung Galaxy A60, Samsung Galaxy A70 and Samsung Galaxy A90. This time we are going to focus on the most powerful of the brand without reaching the terrain of its flagship, the next Samsung Galaxy A90. What do we expect to find in the most premium option of the Korean firm's mid-range? We have compiled all the rumors about it so that you can get an idea of what to expect from this new terminal that will be presented on April 10 and if it will be worth your purchase.
Frameless display design… really
One of the things that stands out the most in this Samsung Galaxy A90 is that it would be the first Samsung terminal 'all screen' without a visible notch. This is not just a rumor but Samsung, on its official page, assured it. Therefore, it leaves us in doubt as to where the front camera would be located, if in the removable way of a VIVO Nex or sliding like the one we see in the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. Well… neither one thing nor another. It is a new rotating camera technology that would work as follows: we extract the camera module (in the manner of the Mi Mix 3) and see the triple sensor, arranged, in turn, inside a small rotating module, becoming in triple selfie camera. In this video we can see everything in more detail.
This triple camera would consist of a 48-megapixel main sensor with f / 2.0 focal aperture, a secondary 8-megapixel sensor and f / 2.4 focal aperture and a ToF sensor (depth sensor) with a focal aperture of f / 1.2.
Without a doubt, an ingenious technology that would solve the great design problem of the front camera location in the 'all screen' designs. In two days we will get rid of doubts or if, on the contrary, we will see the also rumored removable camera.
The dimensions of this terminal will be 165 x 76.5 x 9 millimeters and it will weigh 219 grams, somewhat more than what we are used to. Its screen with Super Amoled technology could have a size of 6.7 inches and Full HD + resolution which would throw 393 pixels per inch of density. This terminal would not have certification against water and dust, so the user who wants a terminal with such characteristics must go for the Samsung Galaxy S10 or versions of previous years. One of the peculiarities that we would find on this screen is that the speaker would be located under it, as well as the fingerprint sensor.
Rest of specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A90
