Although there is still a little less than a month so that we can finally see the Huawei P30 Lite, P30 and P30 Pro, the truth is that today we already know many of its main characteristics. Among the three models that the brand is going to present in the city of Paris, the P30 will surely be the model that will most attract the masses; mainly because of its price. Identical design to the rest of Huawei P30
In the design section, the changes with respect to the filtered models are scarce. Several images through different sources have confirmed us what the physical appearance of the Huawei P30 Lite will be like.
As can be seen in the images of the Huawei P30 Lite, the terminal will come equipped with three cameras on the back and one on the front on a drop-type notch. Thanks to the latter, both the upper and lower frames are significantly reduced compared to the Huawei P20 Lite of 2018.
That is why, regarding the dimensions of the mobile, no major changes are expected either in width or height despite integrating a 6.14-inch screen with the same characteristics as those of the P20 Lite (IPS technology and Full HD + resolution).
But surely what most catches our attention about the device is the size of the rear fingerprint sensor. Unlike the aforementioned P20 Lite, the fingerprint reader of the P30 will have higher dimensions, possibly due to the implementation of gestures on it.
Same processor and memory as Honor 8X
Few are the news that we expect in this regard. Numerous leaks have already confirmed that it will feature the same spec sheet as its counterpart, the Honor 8X.
Kirin 710 processor, Mali-G51 MP4 GPU GPU, 4 and 6 GB of RAM and storage capacities that could vary between 64 and 128 GB. Of course, these will be expandable by micro SD cards up to 400 GB.
For the rest, we expect specifications similar to those of the aforementioned Honor terminal. Bluetooth 4.2, triple tray for two nano SIM cards and one SD, NFC and USB type C connection. It will also come with a battery that will start at 3,240 mAh (that of the P20 Lite had 3,000 mAh) and a fast charging system that it could go up to 18 W.
The best of the Huawei P30 Lite: its cameras
If there is something that has evolved with respect to the Huawei P20 Lite, it is the cameras. The different leaks that have given birth in recent months have left us with a camera configuration consisting of three 20, 16 and 2 megapixel sensors with RGB, wide and telephoto lenses and focal aperture f / 2.0, f / 2.2 and f /2.4.
We can not anticipate its photographic results, but theory tells us that we will find a multitude of camera modes (portrait mode, wide angle mode, 2x zoom…) thanks to the diversity of its lenses. We do not expect great results when it comes to night photography unless Huawei does not integrate a native night mode. After all, the openness level is not the highest we have seen in mid-range mobiles.
As for the front camera, here the results are expected very similar to those of the Huawei P20 (not P20 Lite). A single 24-megapixel camera with f / 2.0 focal aperture is what we expect from this one. As is customary for the brand, it is expected to have a software facial unlocking system.
The price could increase compared to the Huawei P20 Lite
How much will the Huawei P30 Lite cost and what will its starting price be? While it is true that the price of the Huawei P20 Lite started from about 379 euros in Europe, it is not ruled out that the company increases the starting value of the P30 Lite to 400 euros. The main reasons for this may be due to the improvement of the photographic section and the design, although we will have to wait until March 26 to confirm it.
