Honor, the brand belonging to Huawei, will soon present its flagship, the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro, which could be accompanied by a Lite version. These terminals have already been leaked on more than one occasion, revealing their main technical specifications, design and functions. In this post we have compiled all the leaks and what we know about these two next phones. From its design to its possible price.

Design, in the line of the Huawei P30

Rear of Honor 20 Pro

The Honor 20 and 20 Pro will have a design very similar to the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro respectively. Although it is true that we could see small differences. The device will be made of aluminum, with a shiny glass back where the edges will be slightly curved. At least in the Pro model. The camera will be located in the left area, in a vertical position. There we can see the periscope camera, accompanied by the three different sensors and an LED flash. Right at the bottom is the logo. In the different images that have been leaked we have not seen a fingerprint reader on the back, so we assume that it will be located on the screen. Not counting the Honor Magic 2, which did not arrive in Spain, it will be the first Honor mobile to include a fingerprint reader on the screen.

And speaking of the screen, here the information is not very clear. The first leaks confirmed a screen very similar to the current Huawei flagships. That is, with a drop-type notch in the upper area. However, a leaked image a few hours ago showed the supposed Honor 20 Pro with an on-screen camera. Of course, we must take this last leak with tweezers, since it could be the Honor View 20, which also has a camera directly on the screen.

Of course, aluminum edges. It is also possible that we see the smooth cutout of the upper and lower area, a hallmark in the design of Huawei models.

The truth is that the Honor 20, the medium model, has not leaked as much as the Pro model. However, an image of its back let us see a somewhat different design, more similar to the Honor Magic 2 than the Huawei P30. As we can see, it will have a triple camera in the upper area. There is no fingerprint reader, so it is most likely directly on the screen. How not

The characteristics of the Honor 20 and 20 Pro

The Honor 20 Pro will arrive with a 6.5-inch panel with a Full HD + resolution. It is not yet clear if the company will bet on an in-display camera, or else they will continue with the notch in the upper zone. Inside we will find a Kirin 980 processor, with 6 or 8 GB of RAM, as well as a range of about 3.6500 mAh.

In the case of the Honor 20 Pro, it would come with a 6.1-inch panel with Full HD + resolution. The terminal would also have a Kirin 980 processor, but with 4 or 6 GB of RAM. Some data remains to be known, such as its autonomy. Of course, it will arrive with Android 9.0 Pie, and most likely with EMUI 9.1, the new version of the company's customization layer.

The Honor 20 Pro will stand out for its photographic section, which is expected to be very similar to that of the Huawei P30 Pro, with a 5x perscope camera. While it is true that it would have a similar configuration, the quality is likely not the same. The main sensor of the pro model will be 48 megapixels, while the third lens, possibly 16 megapixels, will be responsible for taking wide-angle photographs. Last but not least, it will feature a ToF sensor.

It is not the first time that Honor integrates this 3D lens in its devices, the Honor View 20 already has this feature, which is used to support the front camera.

In the Honor 20 we can see a configuration more similar to the Huawei P30, with a triple camera (possibly also 48 megapixels), a wide-angle sensor and a third lens that will allow us to take photos with a 3x zoom with little loss of quality.

Price and date of presentation

Honor will present these two devices on May 21 in London. We still do not know their prices, but based on rumors and the starting prices of previous versions, this is how the next models of the Chinese company would be located.
