And most importantly, what can we do if we have fallen for the scam? We see it below.
SMS from 663475590, who is it?
"I have received a message from the number 663 475 590 saying that my bank account has been disabled", "I get a disabled user for security reasons", "I have called my bank and they have confirmed that everything is fine"… These are some of the testimonies that we have been able to find around the number 663 47 55 90. What is really behind these SMS?
The truth is that it is a phishing attempt. The message in question contains a link to a web page that mimics the appearance of our bank's access panel. After entering the bank details in the web form, the information is sent to the thieves.
Later this information is used to impersonate our identity and make bank statements and transfers to other account numbers. It is something that has been confirmed by the different banking entities and that affects several banks in Spain, including Banco Santander, Bankia, Banco Sabadell and even BBVA.
